If there was a choice between using a regular escalator or climbing ten flights of those stairs, I would choose the stairs without any hesitation! It has to be a happy climb! The Palais des Congrès in Montreal, Quebec, is a genuine feast for the eyes. It’s a convention center with a design relying mostly on its fabulous coloured windows. The effect is absolutely delightful, casting gorgeous colours both inside and outside the building, like a giant kaleidoscope. Focal length 55mm / ISO-200 / Aperture f/9 / Shutter 1/250 sec. I decided I should do a painting to show how I feel about my hands – I have an essential tremor, that is only helped by beta blockers (propanolol) or alcohol! Not very practical but more fun. / Anyway, I find that painting also helps – I am rubbish at straight lines, but I go into a sort of meditative state and my hands relax a bit. / So this is a small painting that took a long time, but was quite therapeutic
A lil bit of colour with this one… / —-—-— / Drawn using a graphics pad. / —-—-— / Original non coloured version also available / Sleek as Midnight / / —-—-— /
