part of the quayside of Royan – this is the “working” port for the fishing boats – the other side is for the sailing boats and cruise boats! It was so lovely and colourful with the blue skies and calm sea! Not bad for February! Royan is a lovely coastal town in SW France it was re-built in the 1950’s after being bombed in the 2nd WW, a modern church basically dominates the new town! The medieval Graslei Harbour lies in the centre of Ghent in Belgium. Although some of the original buildings still stand, most are fake and were rebuilt for the 1913 World Fair. I shot this image just after dusk and was going for an eerie feel. Best viewed large! Thank you to all who stop by to have a look, it’s much appreciated, as are your comments!
