I have had this shot in my collection for years. Every summer in East Texas, at an airfield between Lakeport and Longiew, there is held a Hot Air Balloon show with numerous activities, races, and the ever popular night glow event. There are hundreds of Hot air balloons scattered across the huge airfield. It is a very exciting time and a wonderful opportunity to see these beautiful giants up close. This is a shot i captured on one of those evenings. It is a really amazing sight. If I ever get an opportunity to go to another of these events anywhere, I should try my hardest to attend. I know my children would have a blast, just as I did. It brings back such memories for me. I took this with an old Canon AE-1 camera using 35mm film. / I can only guess to what the settings were as I have long lost the info and even the negatives now. The ISO was probably 400 with a very open aperture of f/3.5 or f/2.8, and an exposure speed of about 1/60 or 1/40.
