I started to worry after 3 days of heading out to different locations and the sky not working for me, in the middle of winter and no cloud in sight! Finally, i returned to a location on the edge of Lake Coleridge, a place that i had discovered on Google Maps some time ago and wanted to explore during my time in the South Island. On the 4th day i got what i came for and was treated with a brilliant sunrise casting pink hues over the cirrostratus that dominated the sky. I was the only one there, not a soul in the world but me to enjoy the show and brave the bitting winds off the mountains. I knew then that i was in a truly remarkable location and one that i will return back to in the future.

Tadcaster, Yorkshire, UK / This large imposing bridge was built by George Hudson , the work being completed together with a bridge over Wighill Lane in 1849. However Mr. Hudson ran into financial problems and the rest of the line remained unbuilt. It was not until 1882 that goods were brought across the River Wharfe by rail, using this viaduct. The last time the viaduct was used to fetch and carry goods was in 1955. Nikon D3x / Lens 24-70mm / ISO 100 / 1/250 / f/5.6 /
