Of course I have many different shots just like this :-) I posted a photo in color as well at a different time called – Approaching / Autumn / ....................................................................................................................... / / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / Click to View By Category: / -—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / - Waterfall Photos / - Selective Coloring / - Infrared Photos / - Black and White Photos / - Animal Photos / - Downtown Cleveland ............................................................................................................... / ................................................................................................................ /

Red Bubble’s First Book /// In the Moment /// Overall Winner / I found myself in Geneva for a week for work last year. The only other time I had been to Switzerland was Zurich for 2 nights in the middle of winter, so I was kind of surprised by the beautiful (and hot!) summer weather I experienced on this visit. / The Lake at Geneva is where everyone goes to cool off and I was mesmerised watching all these crazy dudes doing amazing things off a high-dive on the edge of the lake. I took a few shots and managed to capture this moment among them. / I entered this work into the 2007 Linden Gallery Post Card Show in St.Kilda, and was absolutely stoked to have been awarded one of the six entries to be reproduced as postcards and sold through the gallery.
This guy was pretty cool, sitting there minding his own business, and I just had to get the shot. But as I lifted the camera and looked through the lens he just broke into this mean stare into the lens like he was gonna hurt me. I saw it and quickly pressed the shutter. Later I complimented him on his tattoos and showed him the shot and it was then that his frown turned into a broad grin…phew!

The full title of this picture is ‘Hate Delirium [ Never Forgive, Never Forget]’ and goes with my other picture, Love Delirium. Whereas Love Delirium is in a happy relationship, Hate Delirium isn’t – she is being torn apart and ripped by her feelings which were binding her. She is full of revenge due to her partner stabbing her with all his lies, and from cupid shooting his arrow at first and making her fall from him. The heart which is badly ripped apart and shattered shows how it has been damaged so much thats its too late and now she can’t use it at all… she is too hurt that all she wants is to get her own back. —-—-—-—-—-——- Thank You For Viewing / Original By Emma Black / Do Not Use Without Permission

I saw the reflection of that “prisoned” tree in the window, while I was enjoying a mountain climb here in Macedonia, a moment before i could see it free. It gave me a thought of what are we doing to our mother nature and couldn’t resist to pull the shutter of my camera as a modest contribution to a free green planet.
Taken with a Minolta 5xi on Fuji film

Sometimes one only gets to see part of the whole, but that part is so breathtaking that no more is needed, sometimes a person will only reveal a part of themselves, and over time one sees a little more and a little more and the glimpse grows and the picture becomes whole…
Wilsons Promontory – ‘The Prom’, 2008 Have managed this summer to get out there and surf a bit. Lately just me, my board and my camera down the coast, tenting it and basically taking time out for myself. After a few hours in the water you get this kind of fuzzy peaceful feeling inside, equal parts exhaustion and elation. I love that headspace of daydreaming, and find it a really inspirational state for visual ideas to come to the surface.

From the San Juan Islands while whale watching for Orcas. This was taken with a crappy camera so the Quality isn’t the best but it is still high enough to be enjoyable :) / Red-Orange colors are edited.. or practically fake Cokin ;P.
We all spend a part of each day, just waiting for something…a phone call…a bus to come…the traffic to move…the kettle to boil…a holiday…a pay rise…love…happiness…success…a file to upload. / Perhaps you’ve been waiting your whole life for something to happen? / Or maybe it’s just about to…any minute now.
Heart Built on Tears These are individually placed waterdrops on a CD. The colors come from how the light is refracted on the surface. It’s really easy to arrange shapes since you can just drag the drop with any sharp object and it will stay perfectly spherical and not loose any water :) So this is a bit feminine, but boo double standards :) / These are the descriptions I give on dA —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / Location: Portland, OR / Date: August 30th, 2008 / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- Camera: Canon Digital Rebel XSi (450D) / Lens: Canon Macro Lens EF-s 60mm f/2.8 / Focal Length: 60 mm / Flash: Built-In Shutter Speed: 1/60 sec / Aperture: 2.8 / ISO: 400 / — MY PHOTOGRAPHS ARE COPYRIGHTED AND NOT FOR USE OF STOCK, CANNOT BE REDISTRIBUTE, EDITED, AND/OR COPIED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
