The Golden Wattle is Australia’s / national floral emblem, also / displaying the national colours / of gold and green. / . / To me personally wattle signifies / nature, warm sunny days and the / great outdoors. / . / To create this image I first rolled a / number yellow sticker dots into tiny / tubes and then physically placed / them around a single yellow dot. / . / I photographed the design, then / replicated it, thus creating the ‘fluffy’ / wattle you see here. / . / Even the green stems were created / by ‘cutting’ them from one of the dots / and then applying a green colour.
