From a visit to a violin maker, Ilja Grawerts Fiddle shop with my Lensbaby Original Title selected from the subjects in my spam folder….... / SPAM PHOTOS / NEW ZEALAND / FROGS / LENSBABY / INFRARED / BEACH / INDUSTRIAL / PANORAMAS / LANDSCAPES / REAL ESTATE SERIES
My intention when I did this painting was to take an everyday situation – like looking out for the post-man and turning it into a vibrant and alive moment in time! / No matter how small and trivial things may seem – there is always something else going on: one just has to take a look at that poor fish! I lik this painting, my friends say it makes them feel like ”...putting on their dancing shoes!” / (It’s a frustrating fact, but for some reason this painting just won’t upload to the right proportions – it’s living it’s title to the full – and just NOT conforming!) Please visit my blog for more of my artwork or for inquiries on original paintings if I still have them available.
painted in water colours on quality w/c paper / The back ground is air brushed to give that out of focus fx / Painted mainly for reproductions
Painted in olis on canvas applied to masonit / The background was hand painted, as with water colour I may have used an air brush, but not with oils none of my paintings are direct copies of photographs, photos are only used as references. None of my works are digitaly altered in anyway What you see is a direct photo from the original painting

Here’s another new painting. Acrylic on Canvas. Original is available for sale although it’s going to exhibition at the end of May. Happy to sell it prior though and exhibit with a red sticker if you are interested : ) Size: 76×51cm
(Uploaded especially for my new friend Mike Scholl. You must check out his work – brilliant!) 75×100 x 3.8cm Acrylic on Canvas. There is an exhibition coming up and I have been asked to submit 8 pieces of figurative work. I thought I had completed this last September but it’s just bugged me! Anyway last week I decided to work on it again. So, originally we had this (rather unattractive boring red head) / / and with a few alterations we now have this much more friendly gal.

I recently treated myself to a set of Ashleys Photoshop Actions & I have to say that it’s the best money I’ve spent in a long time! / True, these Actions are all things I frequently try to do myself when doing a portrait, but using them has halved my workflow. / Perhaps I should learn to do my own actions…. / I’ve had a lot of fun playing with them this afternoon…...
