Graffiti is a controversial subject as Some people call it vandalism while others call it art. It has existed since ancient times and in today’s society, spray paint and markers become the most commonly used materials. This photograph was taken at a wasteland area on the outskirts of Brighton, England. At some stage it will be developed but for the time being it is widely used by those who desire to show their freedom of expression.

This artwork deals with the subject of racism. The reason for the coloured shapes over the faces is to imply that anyone can be a victim of racism and at the same time there’s a racist in every ethnic group basically no ethnic group is immune to these evil ways of thinking. This artwork came from a drawing that was printed onto photographic paper, the coloured shapes were added in before the print. I used photoshop for the coloured shapes. The artwork done by adelaide artist Ashoka Chowta, made in 2008.
