“Harmony” is a mixed media production (ink, pastel, acrylic) on canvas textured paper, the idea at first was to create a feeling of stained glass…i have a love of stained glass, and transparent things….i love light filtering through…and how light plays….i was looking for a name for the painting today….and ‘Harmony’ just seemed to go ‘hand in hand’ with these three friends

collaboration with my friend saad he gave me a sexy 3d render, then I worked over it with my original colours. he touched up with his colour tones which I liked a lot, and here it is. Very experimental and something new from me. www.archann.net

This is one of my personal faves. It was taken about 20 minutes after the Blue Wet Zebra. / The clouds were dark, the sky was colourful. / As i was fiddling with the cam, the sun came up like this! And the window was still dripping in a cool way. / I like this, coz it got my favourite colours in it!! As is! / 928 views / A bit abstract isnt it. Best viewed LARGE! We were not called into a relationship with Christ so that we would enslave ourselves to legalistic rules or complicated rites. We are called to come to Jesus freely and to find freedom in Him through a relationship unlike any other we could have. As we draw closer to Jesus, it is necessary to practice disciplines within our Christian lives. But, the dos and don´ts, repetition and tradition were not meant to become our focus, but to better enable us to focus on Jesus. .painted the Dove on my Tablet on a background I created++added the graphics… Footprints Prayer-. / One night I had a dream… / I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord, and / Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. / For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; / One belonged to me, and the other to the Lord. / When the last scene of my life flashed before us, / I looked back at the footprints in the sand. / I noticed that many times along the path of my life, / There was only one set of footprints. / I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life / This really bothered me, and I questioned the Lord about it. / “Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, / You would walk with me all the way; / But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, / There is only one set of footprints. / I don’t understand why in times when I / needed you the most, you should leave me. / The Lord replied, “My precious, precious / child. Mixed Media – Acrylic, Collage and finished with Oils. Lots of glazing and experimenting with colour. “Collage is mostly in the hair. The work is on canvas, the collage is jewerelly from a fashion magazine, material for the butterfly and scrapebook paper for the big flower. The back ground is glazed over to give a twilight effect.
