An artist is drawing Emiliano Zapata Salazar, a leading figure in the Mexican Revolution, which broke out in 1910, and which was initially directed against the president Porfirio Díaz. He formed and commanded an important revolutionary force, the Liberation Army of the South. The paintings was done during the Imadonnari Italian street painting festival in Santa Barbara in 2008. I have just won another challenge, The Small World California hosted by the California Sound group for my image Monarch Butterfly sip nectar from a Daisy flower# / # Another “Monarch butterfly” image is featured in the same group / The image mime is featured in The Professionals group after winning 7th place in The Adult Female Face challenge. The image “Scarlet Macaw Parrot” won 4th place in the Weekly Contest 04 – Birds challenge hosted by the Animal Photography group To all that voted for my winning Monarch Butterfly entry, and getting the Mime image to be in the top ten , THANK YOU! this could not have happened without you.

This is my beautiful daughter Aysha, she is a very happy go lucky girl as you can see, she lives in Perth Western Australia so I don’t see as much of her as I would like, but on a recent visit home I managed to get this shot between phone calls. Taken with my Canon 40DSLR using a lighting umbrella in the background to wash out the background. Thanks for visiting
