  • St Carthage Catholic Church: Silverton 25 km west of Broken Hill in outback NSW, Australia. Built in 1886, St Carthage stands alone on the rising slope in what was once a thriving mining town. Today Silverton is known as a ghost town. I sometimes wonder if it represents a parable of the Spiritual state of Australia. I used a pallet knife rather than a brush to give depth and texture. • August 2006 I drove from Halifax to Winnipeg the drive was 56 hours long. The Trans Canada Highway isn’t always the best place to pull over, especially when people might be tired, however I couldn’t resist capturing a few shots. Northern Ontario is very sparsely populated, between Sault Ste. Marie and Winnipeg (14 hours of driving) I doubt there is 500,000 people. So you don’t want to accidentally get hit by car while shooting at dawn on a highway.

  • Looking down Strathaird towards Torrin with Beinn na Cro on the right and ‘sometimes’ a view of Blaven behind. Dressed in Autumn colour.

  • This painting was done in collaboration with Mikebov and is 300mm X 1200mm Oil on canvas.

  • some days it’s takes all you’ve got to stay sane…. some folks might say… / “But what would Ganesh say?” ..... but me …. mostly I just say…...”Jesus”.... sometimes other words might follow…. this is an actual moment in time upon a hill I was preparing to set fire too (in the name of art of course) when a skywriter flew over and wrote just what I was thinking at the time…how cool is that hey…. anyway then a fellow who was helping me prep the hill kindly stepped up to the plate and struck a pose…. I think that’s called ‘vogueing’..... me I think of it as an example of extreme syncronicity…..anyway whatever…. / . /

  • Yes, it’s a bee on a string! Stand out from the crowd with this eye catching vibrant crazy design. Available in a wide range of colours. In no circumstances do we condone attaching string(s) to Bees, or any other insect / living organism. Furthermore, one should not attempt to force boots, any other footwear, or indeed general apparell, upon stated forbidden organisms. Don’t get stung buying shoddy immitations. Bee the first to own one, and order today! Thanks. ;) Click the colours to the left for a preview, and click on the t-shirt itself for a larger view, (or use the buy/preview button above)

This is where I did my internship during the summer of 2007. Hayama is part of the Miura Peninsula; other cities in this Peninsula include Yokosuka, Zushi and Kamakura. Th coast of Miura offers beautiful beaches with stunning views of Mt. Fuji and many more splendours. / / I was going through my Japan pics recently and uploaded a few for this calendar; though some are already published in my portfolio including the following: Cover: Shiroyama / June: Sunshine on Takeishi Beach / August: Mt. Fuji Sunset I / September: Mt. Fuji Sunset V / October: Mt. Fuji Sunset VI / November: Mt. Fuji Sunset IV / December: Sunset over Mt. Fuji and Enoshima under pink clouds The last pics of Mt. Fuji were taken when the office threw me a farewell party at Hayama Isshiki beach. I’d be glad to change images or the order to suit personal preferences; or create a custom calendar.
