Do they still make plasticine? Probably not… another one of those dreadful hazards that modern children aren’t fit to deal with. / Anyhow, this image reminded me of a fresh pack of plasticine with all the colours laid in short cables side by side.
A fractal image representing a flying dragon or anything else that your imagination can see.
Fractal Explorer. Sterlingware formula number 04. Autumn is well and truly settling in here. The poor butterflies and bees have had a bad time of it this summer as it has been almost continuous precipitation – I am fed up with that word r**n. We have had the Goldfinches clamouring for milk thistle seed all summer, the “fighting finches” I call them, for they do a lot of squabbling. / So, au revoir to the summer season and hello to what we hope will be a mellow autumn, and if it’s not, well then, there is always next year:-)
Fractal Explorer pure fractal Twister Weed Sterlingware formula number 05. Quite a strange formula this one. It throws up a very diverse range of extraordinary designs. Where the heart came from I don’t know. One minute it was not there – the next it was. I hope no-one is looking for it; anyway it’s quite safe. / Thankyou for looking:-)
Gliding to display / White, slender / Black flash of eye / One pair / Bound for life / by invisible thread / Long curving necks / Gliding to display / Proud parents / Graceful afloat / Elegant and stately / as full sailed ships. / Crack. / Who did that? / Why? Fe Guido Limena formula. / Postwork in PI and PSP. It’s nothing like the original fractal now, and that is why I named it snatch. I’m not sure I should have meddled with it.

Created in Photoshop from a drawing of a four leaf clover…..lolol This is the piece of music I was listening to while designing it. I’m learning to play this on the electric guitar at the moment so it’s on constantly. I suppose this piece will therefore always bring back memories of frustration, painful fingertips and people telling me to turn the amplifier down! Pachelbel – Canon in D

Fractal Explorer. Gen Newton IV formula. I joined the Group this morning and have been amazed at the stunning images here. This formula produces some wonderful swirling patterns, which when used in conjunction with the built in palettes of FE lifts them a step higher. / Thankyou for your time.
this has 7 layers .. fractals done with Incendia and Apophysis
I don’t have the words to say how I feel about all the horrors of the bushfires in Victoria that have been and are still being afflicted not only on the people who live there but also the animals except that my heart aches and sometimes I can’t stop the tears in my eyes from falling … especially especially for all the animals who lived there that had no chance to escape … when I designed this fractal what I saw were koalas rising above the devastation below … there must be a heaven for these poor creatures .. little angel koalas … please please open your heart and do whatever you can to help our animal cousins —Wildlife-Appeal Profile —Wildlife-Appeal RB Group —Wildlife-Appeal Bubblesite —- All profits from the sale of this work will be donated to Wildlife Appeal. —- work done in Sterling2 with post work in PaintShopPro and Gimp. I saw the fire burning over the water .. smoke blued by the night flowing outward … My first ever work in Ultrafractal and the newest version 5.01 with post work (texture, sizing, brightness, contrast) in Gimp. Wish you could see the texture in this image (big smile) It’s best viewed large (grin) I’m completely impressed with the speed of rendering so far in UF5! I rendered this fractal at 10,000px squared with 300 resolution and it only took ten minutes on my 3.2mhz computer (2 gigs of ram) ... wow! Oh I suppose more complex images will take a lot longer .. don’t know yet since I’ve only rendered this one (big grin) .. however I had to resize it down to 5000px and compress it a little so that I could upload it here (smile) ... I’m very pleased with UF5 .. I’ve only scratched the surface for now but I see almost unlimited possibilities with my new toy (big smile) hope you enjoy it (big smile) Featured Art – March 2009 – RedBubble Group: Art in Math Featured Art – June 2009 – RedBubble Group: A Fractal Energy Passion Featured Member – Featured Art – June 2009 – RedBubble Group: A Fractal Energy Passion UF09-1-090311-27
Hey looky here … remember this guy? ... he’s all dressed up and no place to go … well unless he has some help … put on way too many pounds since ya last saw him wouldn’t ya think? .. what? what? oh you say Princess Leia strangled him using those chains? ... well what you don’t know is that, sure he died alright, but .. get this … pieces of his blubber survived the explosion and drifted though space for quite some time until this entity found it and using magick .. ok ok highly advanced technological techniques … he brought the blubber boy back to life .. he cloned him .. ya it’s not the same Jabba though physically he’s got the same DNA.. but mentally .. well let’s just say his past life was wiped clean … also heard that he still has a penchant for overdoing the good life … his rescuer took a liking to him and decided to relocate him to a new home .. all creature comforts taken care of for life … so where’s that you ask? .. chuckle … he’s now living in luxury in a holographic zoo on some planet in a faraway galaxy .. seems the poor bugger has no clue .. best perhaps for all, yes?... so how do I know this? .. come closer .. don’t want everyone to know … you see I met this trader ….whisper whisper whisper …......... Fractal created in Apophysis, postprocessed in PhotoImpact. God’s Grandeur The world is charged with the grandeur of God. / It will flame out, like shining from shook foil; / It gathers to a greatness, like the ooze of oil / Crushed. Why do men then now not reck his rod? / Generations have trod, have trod, have trod; / And all is seared with trade; Bleared, smeared with toil; / And wears man’s smudge and shares man’s smell: the soil / Is bare now, nor can foot feel, being shod. And for all this, nature is never spent; / There lives the dearest freshness deep down things; / And though the last lights off the black West went / Oh, morning, at the brown brink eastward, springs — / Because the Holy Ghost over the bent / World broods with warm breast and with ah! bright wings. Gerard Manley Hopkins (1844–89)

Dear Peter … Josie and I just returned from Central America a few days ago … you remember .. I told you about the trip a few months ago (smile) ... Well … (grin) ... we were extremely lucky to catch a glimpse of the newest variation of the Quetzal bird … Spendorus Resplendent … only seen once before by the noted orthinologist, Roger M. Milhouse, PhD, on his last trip to the region back in 2001. You remember him don’t you? ... the bird guy from back in our university days? LOL … I know you couldn’t have forgotten him (grin) ... well … You can imagine our excitement yet we were able to quickly get his photo. No not Roger’s photo (grin) ... Do check the attachment (smile) After we returned I sent a copy to Roger who immediately emailed back that it was indeed the bird that he had seen. I plan to meet with him in a few months to tentatively plan a trip back to the area where we sited the bird. I’m so excited I can hardly wait. Would you be interested in joining me when I meet with Roger? .. Josie is tied up with another project and won’t have time to help me out on this one. I know how interested you are in the wildlife of Central America so … get back to me as soon as you can … if you’re really interested I’d love to have you join us (big smile) Cassie for more information see The Resplendent Quetzal Featured Art – October 2009 – RedBubble Group: ImageWriting Work done in Apophysis with post work in Gimp. / Best viewed large.
