Model – Meluxine These are some outtake/alternates from the same shoot as Apple Blossom Girl – I actually took LOTS of shots from that set and am having strife picking the final shots to use, and since I treat RB as an alt/outtake spot as well as a preview/never before seen/standard portfolio, I figured what the hell ;) This particular pair were shot on my late Grandfather’s Ensign Selfix 820 on god knows what film, Fuji NPS 160 I thiiiiink… or possibly Portra 400NC. I had no idea what to expect, having never put film through the damn thing before, so the fact they worked and looked delightfully dreamy was very cool. These are scanned from the 120 neg, straight off the camera – no editing aside from putting them next to each other and whacking my watermark on them. Woohoo. Lost in Utah would have been a more apt title after the GPS affectionately known as “Dorothy” lead me to a graveyard instead of a lake lol. I discovered some gorgeous countryside along route. There is nothing better than getting lost :))
Abstract – Acrylic on Canvas / Title to be decided. Painted 19.06.08

Taken on the Black Rock Road near Geelong under a stormy sky which ‘blessed’ us with a few paltry showers rather than the downpour we so desperately need.
