  • Again, my baby, Mona. She is called Mona after a character in Armistead Maupin’s ‘Tales of the City’. I knew her name had to begin with M because of the way the tabby markings always result in an M shape at the forehead.

  • This image has also been used in a collaboration with David Jackson. You may visit that piece here.

  • Water colour.

  • Maddie, my Himalayan cat, in one of her moods. At the time that I took this photo, I had no idea it would be my last. She passed away Nov. 6. She gave me 19 years of purrrfect happiness….

  • My mum and I couldn’t believe what I had captured on my camera when we saw this image. The real story abou this my family said I should share with you all. My mum and I had been at Rookwood Cemetary searching for her mothers grave. It was very cold and windy and the old area was not well sign posted. We tried really hard to find the grave and were about to give up when my mum sent up a heartfelt plea to her mum to “show us where you are”. We turned right at a junction and I stopped to see how I was going to negotiate the rest of the track which was rutted badly. I was about to go again when my mum looked out her window and saw her mothers grave right beside us. / That is an amazing story but it gets better, my mum told me that her mum was 27 years old when she died and that she had red hair. It was on the way back from the Cemetary that I inadvertently photographed this image in the rockface which was several km’s long. It is the face of a young woman with red hair captured on a rockface on theF6 freeway from Sydney to Wollongong. This image has not been altered in any way except for some cropping. The image itself is straight from the camera, thanks for visiting

  • Stained glass window.

  • This piece is all about holding ourselves back. Often we confine ourselves in mental cages, not letting our true thoughts out or expressing what we want. The right side is plain, symbolising this confinement and lack of being unique, and gradually as she becomes more sure of herself her life is being filled with colour and originality. So basically don’t hold yourself back, be who you want to be. This is a real mixed media… acrylics, watercolours, watercolour pencils (without water), pastels, inks and pens! I really enjoyed doing this piece, despite the fact it was dragged out so long.

  • a sketch i did last week… i have been procrastinating so thought i’d put it up.

  • The face of Luna Park, Sydney. Taken up close and personal, it looks like an evil giant looking down at us with a malicious grin. • Just another verse from the song “She’s Like A Rainbow”... Have you seen her dressed in blue? / See the sky in front of you / And her face is like a sail / Speck of white so fair and pale / Have you seen a lady fairer? (The song makes me feel ridiculously giddy. A Stones fav of mine) Again, playing around with Day Two work from my pencil drawing Seedling / and let her play with the same drippy florals as my first piece of this name, but applied in a different hue and, well, differently.
