Enjoy!
Well … maybe I should quit saying I will end the Abundance series. From now on it is a series with an open ending. Couldn’t sleep last night, because I was thinking about a dark variation on number 4. -Drawing of female body in charcoal. / -Drawing of white flower in East-Indian ink and water colours. / -Digitized. / -Photo layers added. / -Freaked.

Just because I love the colour red.
The nurse walked into her seclusion to find that the patient in room 33 had given birth by herself. There is more from this series at www.cjphotography.co.nr sorry if i offend anyone with this piece. all the stories are true and i have spoken to the people involved with the story.
A dawn shot from a series I shot from the East Beach in Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland. The Bin of Cullen, which is further down the East coast, is the hill in the distance. Nikon D80 / Manual / 4s at f11.0 / ISO 100 / 18.0-70.0mm f/3.5-4.5 at 18mm / 0.9 ND soft Grad. / tripod / remote release
Captured on Princess Stree in the darkness of the dawn light. I just love light-trails from vehicles in these kinds of pictures. I had to stand in the middle of the road with traffic flowing past in the early hours to get this shot, but I think it was worth the danger;) I was born in Edinburgh Scotland, and was always amazed as a child at the crowds of people along Princess Street. It always seemed to be teeming with life. Today Princess Street is being ruined by the local council’s traffic schemes and most of the high class shops have been replaced by tourist shops selling garbage. IMHO:-) One day it will spring back into life again, I’m sure. / Captured with Nikon D700 and 24-120mm: On a tripod with a small aperture and daylight WB setting, ISO 100. Long exposure.

Inspired directly from all the horror movies I’ve ever watched. You’re on the run from whatever it is chasing you this time. You fine a phone, run to it in hope but lo and behold, it’s disconnected. You turn to keep running, but the thing you have been running from is there, and you run right into it.. That was your last life line. Goodbye. This was taken in the underpass between Degraves Street and Flinders Street Station, Melbourne. The entire underpass is trapped in an art deco time warp. Light pink tiles on rounded walls, window box displays, metal sign work, and this in particular. Curving into a small alcove where a telephone must have once stood. Original shot, layered twice. Colour altering and fading on original, darkening on layer. Texture added from www.deviantart.com stock. Featured in Australia! Labyrinths have always had a magical and slightly daunting effect on me. Possibly influenced by the David Bowie / Jennifer Connelly 80s movie. Walking around in the walls of a labyrinth, you have lost all your friends, but can still hear them in the distance, somewhere. Not sure where you are or where you are going, you stumble across an open area, an old forest. You see a makeshift burrow, made out of old stones, looks like it’s been there for hundreds of years. As you get closer, you hear soft whimpering coming from within. As you get to the old wooden door, you can clearly hear a child crying inside. That’s when you hear the growling behind you… Taken in Prague, along an old overgrown path, on the way to the hill that overlooks the whole city. I clearly remember looking at this and having a small shiver. Crystal Caves, Bermuda Underground fresh water caves in Bermuda. The temperture above ground was well above 30 Celsius, while the temperature in caves was probably only 15. The water was verrry cold to swim in. “You can go to heaven if you want. I’d rather stay in Bermuda.” – Mark Twain
Another one in my lane way series. This was taken in Brunswick, Melbourne. Just around the corner from Rendez-vouz. I layered the original shot 4 times, adjusting the hue to different ranges and increasing the brightness in all, added noise and a faint layer of texture. Palau de los Correos, Valencia, Spain. (Telecommunications and Post Office). I took this shot around the corner from where ‘Empty’ was taken, the lane way shot, below. This incredibly ornate and decorated building sits in the Place de l’Ajuntament, otherwise known as the Town Square. It shares a home with the Valencia Town Hall, a classic cinema and several bars and restaurants. It’s a busy, bustling area of the city, and is alive with a vibe that keeps you entertained for days. Original shot has been layered once, with minor colour and contrast adjustments. Slight crop of original image. Canon SX100IS / f2.8, 1/25, ISO 200 MCN: CG6SF-9XC2E-P1FLK
