  • I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons. Sold 2 laminated prints to RB Members.

  • This is an image of myself and of Rivers Edge in Tulsa Oklahoma. I used Photoshop CS2 for the editing.

  • Cusco, Peru’ ! / While walking in Cusco a few days ago I met this little girl, Flor, and her sister Yolanda ! I had already taken a picture of them last year ” Flor y Yolanda ” and when I showed them a copy of the photo.. they were so impressed that they asked me to take more pictures. This is just one of the many I took ! She is so confident and loves to be photographed !!! I love this picture for the way she poses here, the way she smiles, her spontaneity.. and the beautiful contrast of colors !!!

  • The title is supposed to be lower- case. Inspired by floating cats, I suppose. : > and imagination- but, no….I created this thinking about the oxymoron of becoming an adult, and the children I see today, wearing makeup and talking on cellphones who should be enjoying childhood, not adulthood. Perhaps I am being illusional? But, in spite of it, it saddens and frustrates me when I see little girls and boys who are trying to grow up so fast…. and i don’t think it’s so much children to blame, but, i believe, it’s the media…. / how frustrating! i remember when climbing trees and playing on a playground when you’re twelve was considered normal. but, enough ranting! / Done in photoshop : >

  • Another version of the “Dreams” design. / This one has no background so the image of the girl is larger, with more color around the eyes. I also went over some of the lines using photoshop, making the image more crisp. Detail / I tried to use as much “print space” as possible :)

Inspired by poetry: What was he saying and to whom / by Alan Michael Parker What was he saying and to whom? / With a silver thermos he left the building; / He paused in the courtyard and turned. / What was he saying and to whom? The building at dawn not yet a building / Paused the way all buildings do. / What was he saying and to whom? Time doesn’t stop; time doesn’t wait; / Time has never moved. / What was he saying and to whom? If the dog had been sleeping / She would not have awakened, / So small was the moment to lose. / What was he saying and to whom? What was he saying and to whom? / The courtyard at dawn was the same / As the sky, the sky swept clean by the moon. / What was he saying and to whom? Good morning, good-bye, I love you, I’ll try. / What was he saying and to whom? Model my fave! Music-Jim Croce

  • oil on canvas Come join me and AMAZING ARTIST FRIENDS ON Myspace.com/Artistmind Quote from an inspiring friend on redbubble, Kirrill D’Kainn: “First in all essence – NO real artist has learned or has been intelligibly enriched by these critics. It is a fundamental shame that these so called critics are the excrement in the afterbirth of ART.”
