After visiting the Orlando Wetlands in the morning and capturing the gorgeous sunrise, I had to return to catch the sun setting. It’s such a lovely place, I am glad I returned! Wetlands Morning
This fractal design has beautiful details and colors and it looks like the rays of a sun. That is why I gave it the title “A brand new day”.

I’m going through a lot of old files these days and trying to organize everything… I’m not very good at organizing files, haha. Some wedding lace that grows in my backyard in the summer. Enjoy!
This reminds me of gummy candies.. I think it’s the color. I was also craving gummy candies while editing this. So that explains a lot..hehe.. I took this some time in the fall when these berries were still on the tree in my front yard. Enjoy!
Something from the vault… another dandelion photo… I just keep discovering these, haha. There’s a gold mine of them on my hard drive. I don’t remember what I used as the background for this, but I edited the saturation to make the red really pop and it reminded me of star bursts. You know the candy, hehe… Enjoy!

“Roji niwa” meaning “Tea Garden”. This is a beautiful section of the Portland Japanese Gardens, Portland, Oregon.
Mixed media work. I created this artwork with a fractal design, but I used so many different tools of Photoshop that it became more a digital painting/artwork. Designer: Thea Walstra / CanDuCreations / /
featured in Beautiful Belgium This is actually a snapshot, taken during a holiday. Saw this beautiful old lady sitting in a boat while pealing an orange and I just couldn’t resist! Tried to get as close as I could without disturbing her and zoomed in to the max, fortunately the light helped. I am aware it is not technically perfect, it has some blown out highlights, shadows are a bit to deep, but I still love it to bits because of the contrasting colors. I want to express a sincere / ‘Thank you!!!’ for all the wonderful comments and the favoritings, they are really appreciated!
When *owlspook featured my image, I was asked did it have a name, so for owlspook….................. Let us call this world ” Aliens Dream” for thats what it really is, its in a galaxy far, far, away, its where my alien mind dwells, I just add the yeast and watch them rise, my dreams. Totally Alien, Pure Scifi, just one of the many worlds within this Alien Mind. Its my dream and may I never wake-up!!! “May you always create well and prosper” AV
