  • 2 1/2” x 3 1/2” / Derwent Artist colored pencils on Prismacolor Portfolio sketch pad heavy white card, from photo reference by lisilk on WetCanvas.com for Sept. 25 2009 Weekend Drawing Event. The best reef piece I’ve done to date. I love how it came out, the balance between camouflage and psychedelic colors worked so well. I have got to do more reef creatures again!

  • Gems Within Dreamscapes No. 4 / A portal between worlds opens – to the surprise of an unexpected witness.

  • 9×12 on Medium Tooth Paper. / Salvador Dali once created a piece of work that intrigued me – he mixed furniture, with a womans face, using the sofa (I believe!) as her lips? All I remember is the BRIGHT red contrast of her lips….Although I am no Salvador Dali, that concept stood in my mind. I wanted the contrast of the black and white from the charcoal, with the POP of color in the lime green, red, and pink, with a little bit of blue accents.
