  • How fun! These are old cast iron farm equipment seats shown at a local tractor festival this past weekend. The man who owned them has over 600 of them, most dated pre-1900s. this is my daughter’s shot – I love the different colors. Yes, folks… we do have TRACTOR festivals in Texas! We also throw buffalo chips, but I won’t get into that… Oct 08 Update: Thanks to everyone who voted for this photo to be Country Magazine’s Rural Photo of the Year. It made the top 4!!! E.

  • Presentation of my poetry book You may also purchase my second poetry book / (I could send it for you by post) THE LAST WORKS (CLIKC IMAGE FOR VIEW) / . / / . My son`s works (CLICK) FOVORITES of My Category`s (CLICK PHOTOS): Landscapes Portraits Nudes Compositions Flowers Winters Collaborations Fogs . ABOUT MY EXHIBITION The woks exhibited represent the linkup of two artists, a photographer and a sculptor. Such an attempt to blend two spheres of art is really innovative and a bit unexpected. There had been few who were successful in such an attempt. Both authors, blending their art by the means of the photo art, are the winners. Sculpture, as such, is rather a static art, sometimes “performing” in a specific, sometimes artificial, environment. However, the means of the plastic photography, seemingly, make the sculptures movable, dynamic; they make you feel the sculptures are moving. They become alive, start moving and react both to the environment and the views captured by the photographer. I would like the viewers also note the colour solutions of the photos, aimed at the strengthening of the overall impression of the imagery. The original blend and overlapping of two arts let see the impressive plastic metaphors, giving birth to various associations. CLICK PHOTO IF YOU WANT VIEW /

  • The incredible equine farms & stables of upstate New York; some of the finest horses in world come from there. On assignment last winter —while home-stewarding a much smaller family farm of “my own”, Eye saw this scene near the village of Millbrook & was struck by the arrangement of the fencing against the landscape: hence the title … Timeless.

  • MY FAVORITE COUNTRY ROAD / Best viewed large. / / / / “MY FAVORITE COUNTRY ROAD” was featured in the group COUNTRY ROADS/AROUND THE WORLD / / / / “MY FAVORITE COUNTRY ROAD” was featured in the group NATURAL COLOR AND LIGHT / / / This is a recent photo of my favorite country road! It is located in Flatwoods, Kentucky, in Greenup County, which lies in the northeastern part of the bluegrass state. Many of my relatives live in or just outside of Flatwoods, and my Dad built this one. / / The scenery from this road is almost surreal, it is so beautiful. Surrounding this road are country farms, barns and old churches. This road winds around a gorgeous mountain cloaked with a variety of lush trees and evergreens, whose leaves are radiant in the Fall of the year with brilliant shades of yellow, orange, red, brown and green. / / At the top of the mountain is the end of this magnificent road, which leads to a private, gated mansion that overlooks the entire county. It is very quiet and peaceful there, and everything, including time, seems to stand still on this beautiful road. It is a breath-taking view from the very top, and this is truly my favorite country road!.. / / / To read and learn more about this special country road, / go to:COUNTRY ROAD

  • I wonder where this path leads? During a motorcycle trip to Georgia, I passed by this scene and just had to turn around. The ground fog was just wicked, it was shrouding this path which I presume belongs to a rural farm. Taken with the Nikon D300 and Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 lens. HDR processing and Orton effect applied, as well as some dodge & burn.

  • Oil painting on board. 16inch x 18.5inch. A tribute to a lovely overo paint horse gelding. This particular horse is entering his twilight years. • This abstract draft horse reminds me of a work horse my Granddad had when I was a kid, which was half of the team he used to pull the hay wagon. In those days, we still harvested the hay loose with pitchforks and loaded a huge pile on a wooden wagon with iron wheels. The horse was named Giant, and he was so gentle that five of us kids used to ride him bareback at the same time with just a rope looped around his lower jaw, Indian style. FEATURED IN: /
