Hosier Lane in Melbourne, Australia. A result of 9 images (3 HDR’s) done in Photomatix. Merged the HDR’s in photoshop using automate > Photomerge. I took a series of new tree graffiti images that have depth of color and texture and a myriad of imagery. There are many trees in the middle of / Los Angeles which vary in character from the / graffiti trees in the forests. I see so much in this projective material that I will reserve my perceptions to allow the viewer complete freedom to tell me what you see and if there is a story attached to this painterly image. I keep looking at this all night, the only title that keeps popping in my head is SuperMan..for two reasons, its the color of Super Mans outfit..and because it looks like the (melting) ice cream we got as kids also named Super Man. Another one in my lane way series. This was taken in Brunswick, Melbourne. Just around the corner from Rendez-vouz. I layered the original shot 4 times, adjusting the hue to different ranges and increasing the brightness in all, added noise and a faint layer of texture.
