I happened upon this old crumbling house the other day and couldn’t stay out. In was crusty and crumbling outside and even worse on the inside, dark and dank. As I walked into another dark room this beautiful green scene was just beyond the window. I couldn’t pass it up, everything looked so fresh and new out there!

Part of a series of still life photos I shot in my home studio. I love the colors and texture of flowers and try to capture that using as much natural light as possible. I chose to shot them on a black background to isolate and focus on the rich colors. Featured in The Beginner’s Corner
