Canon 10D / 17-40mmL Antelope Canyon is the most-visited and most-photographed slot canyon in the American Southwest. It is located on Navajo land near Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon formed over the course of millions of years by erosion of the Navajo Sandstone, primarily due to flash flooding and secondarily due to wind erosion. Rainwater (especially during monsoon season) runs into the wash that Antelope Canyon is part of, picking up speed and sand as it rushes through the narrow passageways. Over time the passageways are eroded away, making the corridors wider and smoothing hard edges in such a way as to form characteristic ‘flowing’ shapes in the rock. Lower Antelope Canyon, called Hasdeztwazi, or “spiral rock arches” by the Navajo, is located a few kilometers away from the upper Antelope Canyon and is a more difficult hike. Captured along the Mount Evans Wilderness in Colorado, this is one of those waterfalls that kind of sneaks up on ya outta the blue, and if you blink, you actually miss it. I really don’t much in the way of long exposure shots, but after being happy with how this one came out, I am going to start doing them more. Hope ya all like it! This intimate, bright yet dark, static yet flowing, autumn themed image was made in Baxter State Park, Maine, USA in October 2006. I like the contrast of the flowing water beneath the still branches, the pop of color from the remaining birch leaves, and the juxtaposition of the branch atop the stream in tone and color! /

This is one of my favorite little places in NW Arkansas, its peaceful and quiet from the sounds of man that is. The forest is alive with the songs of the birds, and the animals that scurry throughout the forest. and of woodpeckers that sound like a jack hammer echoing throughout the woods. An early morning view from river Nira near Veer dam, just an hour drive from my city, Pune After almost a weeks break, presenting this work in blue. I didn’t tried much with the original ( not even HDR ). Just few tonal adjustments in Lab color for Levels and exposure blending in PS. Equipment : Canon EOS 400D and Canon 10 – 22 mm lens.

Sunset reflected in the wet sand of the beach of Palmar, in Vejer de la Frontera (Cadiz, Andalusia) It’s one of the most famous of the region. 4200 meters long and just over 50 meters width of virgin natural beach and fine golden sand :D / It’s waves are also the best known of Andalusia to the practice of Surf, Bodyboard and Surf and Kite. / It’s also one of the most famous Sunset in the whole area and one of my favorites to see the sunset ;) Canon 400D Featured work in SEA group (August 09) / See also /
