I went out on a trike ride this afternoon. Only 20% chance of rain, except we got 100% of the 20% that was expected. I kept saying to my self, hmmm, water makes the colors more saturated. What colors??? So here is the only one of the batch that I can post. We are half way between summer and fall. Rain is in the forecast, and I can forget about getting out to take pictures of the moon anytime soon
My late mother’s wondrous garden again – but this time reappraised through extensive digital (Photoshop) manipulation
This is what was remaining this evening around 5:30, and after a day of horrific wind, and thunderstorms moving through Northern California. We had a severe wind warning; big rigs were pulling over on the I5 and the wind was almost impossible to drive in, gusting in every direction. The rain came down in torrants, and window wipers didn’t seem to help much and then just as quickly as it moved in, it was gone…the sun was shining through the clouds and the sun was beginning to set…..this is what was left, just Beautiful and Wild! ___ All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. Guess my head is in the clouds these days. Probably from being in the mountains during the past weekend. Taken Wednesday May 21st/08 as an impending storm circulated the Lake of Two Mountains, Deux-Montagnes, Qyuebec, Canada!
A design I created in my new style (this represents a truer version of what the style is evolving towards than Life Aquatic). I created this almost entirely in Illustrator, with a few finishing touches in Photoshop. My intent is to get this printed as wallpaper and put it up in my house.

RAIN CATCHER The sound of rain - however soft or hard, windblown or delicately dropping on nearby leaves - transports me to a heavenly place, where my face touches the sky; but my feet are firmly on the ground, where the rain falls down on them. When the rain starts, I am perhaps in my most glorious state. — F.A. Moore Digital artwork, by F.A. Moore, June 27, 2009. Rain Catcher is the second in the “Rain” series. A mixture of fall color, rain and fog. There is something mystical and magical about nature under these circumstances, and the soft gentle rain which brings out all the colors and softens all the edges.
