  • I was drawing… and I had all my sharpies lined up. So I took pictures, just goofing off. Laid out on printer paper with lighting from a lamp. I just kinda liked how it turned out.

  • Yes, before you say it … strange! :-) As of July 2009, this painting has had 5,048 viewings and has been favourited 79 times and had 194 comments, so I guess someone out there likes it. Many thanks for your enthusiasm. To be candid though, I’ll never cease to be amazed at its reception, as I didn’t spend too much time on it and even kept it out of my portfolio for ages as I thought it was sub-standard. PLEASE NOTE – AS THE PROPORTIONS OF THIS ARE NOT IN LINE WITH THE PRINTING REQUIREMENTS, IT IS NO LONGER FOR SALE FEATURED BY SURREALISM GROUP – 28th July 2008 FEATURED BY YOU’RE ACCEPTED GROUP – 11th November 2008 FEATURED BY BRITISH PAINTERS GROUP – 26th June 2009 FEATURED BY UNIVERSAL INNOVATION GROUP – 3rd August 2009 I continued this theme and did two more paintings: /

  • Another of the Beautiful Anonymous (BA) pieces. This one was done with traditional mediums that I scanned and put together digitally. The girl is completely black biro pen (I know there are a few big fans of that sort of drawing out there) I so greatly adore this one. Hope she might spark a bit of adoration in others too

  • Beautiful Anonymous series latest work. Portrait – aka Spattered Heart. My favourite one so far :) – but she’s relatively new (finished yesterday) so time will tell… Hope ya’ll like it (and I made this one printable)

  • Here is the original drawing. Can’t seem to get to look this way for a t-shirt, but I’ll keep trying. Colored ball-point pens on paper… / Love this site – I will be uploading a lot more art soon…

  • “THANK YOU” AnitaInverarity, for buying a print!! This is a colored pencil drawing that I created. The ink border is drawn free hand by me and then filled in with archival ink. The border and drawing: all on the same sheet, My borders are not separate from the drawings. This is a mixed media piece. I used prismacolor pencils and archival ink for the border. I used Strathmore, Vellum Bristol, 100# paper. / The total image size is 6.5” wide x 16.5” tall. I love to use vellum bristol for colored pencil work and smooth bristol for pen work. This drawing is mixed and totally on the vellum bristol paper. Any proceeds from the sale of this work on RB will be donated to The Philadelphia Mission. http://www.philadelphia33.org/

  • Rabbits generally live between four and twenty years.Rabbits are ground dwellers that live in environments ranging from desert to tropical forest and wetland. Rabbits kept in a home as pets for companionship are referred to as house rabbits. They typically have an indoor pen and a rabbit-safe place to run and exercise, such as a living or family room. Rabbits are easily trained to use a litter box and can learn to come when called. Their diet typically consists of unlimited Timothy hay, a small amount of pellets, and fresh vegetables. House rabbits are quiet pets, but are unsuitable for households with small children as they are easily frightened by loud noises and can be harmed by mishandling. Domestic rabbits that are not house rabbits also often serve as companions for their owners, typically living in an easily accessible hutch outside the home.

  • Done in pen & pencil. i wanted to add words, but thought it might ruin the picture. i wanted Father Grim Reaper tell his daughter Azmerelda that Rex the Dog’s ear is falling off, & she needs to resew it back on . And Azmerelda says “Yes, Father”. Anyway, the sewing jobs on Rex, the Cat Sparky & Glomp the Rat aren’t very clear, Azmerelda sews ears on them since they are skeletons they would not normally have ears

  • Sketched this out years ago, but finally put some color into it. Turned out pretty well.

  • reference used: Brian Froud’s lady cottongton’s pressed fairy calendar. the fairy is based on the image in the calendar, and the pen-stuff is from my imagination. materials: watercolor pencils and pen.

  • For my sister! This is what she wanted for the 4th of July and for me to post it. / So here you go Air! Here is my Sharpie Doodle!

  • A mixed media piece. Colored pencils, and archival ink for the border. This drawing was done on smooth, heavy bristol paper. It sure has a different look than the ones that I’ve done on vellum bristol papers.

  • This has been a while in the making… I just haven’t had any time to draw for myself!! Ink, watercolour and pencils on Canson illustration paper. / This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivative Works 2.5 Australia License

  • I just uploaded this new scan from my work!! I just completed this mixed media piece. The image size is 14×18 inches. I used archival ink and derwent graphitint watercolor pencils. This is drawn on illustration board and took many hours. I completed the border over a year ago and could not decide what I wanted to put in the middle. I was originally going to call this drawing “If I Could Help Design An Antelope” but as I finished it I decided that it had an old world feeling to it and the name “Paradise” seemed to fit. you will not see this species anywhere as I dreamed it up:) Any proceeds from the sale of prints and cards from RB will be donated to The Philadelphis Mission. You may view their contact info. on my front page. Thanks for looking!! You can also purchase this design on authentic postage stamps at www.zazzle.com/catherinehowell
