Cusco, Perú !!! / This is one of the first shot I took in Cusco this year !!! / I had just arrived and I was feeling a bit strange and not really in the mood to take pictures of people.. I was maybe thinking about life a bit too much ! / But when she passed by I said something funny to her and pressed the bottom !! / I´m glad i did !

It all started with a TV screen shot. I got then inspired to start a series of compositions called The colours of love. This is the first in this series and it uses that screen shot I mentioned. Done in pen & pencil. i wanted to add words, but thought it might ruin the picture. i wanted Father Grim Reaper tell his daughter Azmerelda that Rex the Dog’s ear is falling off, & she needs to resew it back on . And Azmerelda says “Yes, Father”. Anyway, the sewing jobs on Rex, the Cat Sparky & Glomp the Rat aren’t very clear, Azmerelda sews ears on them since they are skeletons they would not normally have ears

This was pure fun, there was this whole group of women and one “beautifull’ man, i really wanted to take his shot and they where asking me ‘why you want photo from that man”, well i said because he is ‘beautifull’ they thought that was sooo funny..they wanted on the photo ,forget about him, take us! so i did offcourse and that attracted more people…finally i made a shot of the ‘beautifull’ man too.. but that was at least an hour later!! That day was a special day in Jodhpur, India and many gypsies come over for a party, so i was the lucky one to shoot all these beautifull people. these girls where behind a little foodstall making themselves ready for the next dance..I never really watch the performances , I rather hang around the back and see what happens there..

Ayacucho, Peru ! Quechua and Aymara were the main languages spoken by the native people of the central highland of South America before the arrival of the spanish ! / In the rural areas of Ayacucho, in central Peru, like in the areas around Cusco the majority of native people still speaks Quechua and some of them barely spanish ! / I didn´t meet many tourists during the time spent in this part of Peru and i really felt immerse in a different reality ! / But now it´s not so different anymore…!!! / / .
