  • This is my first TTV style shot. My Ansco Rediflex arrived in the mail today and after spending the rest of the day creating the dark box to marry my DSLR to the Rediflex, I was finally ready to take my first shots at dusk. See here for photos and description of my dark box contraption This is my favourite tree in my backyard. I look out at it every day and have wanted to capture it, but nothing has worked until today. I tweaked the levels in this one to get a cross processed look. Slight adjustment of lightness, contrast and brightness. Cropped to a square. The original shot, another vivid New Mexico sunset seamed to be calling out for a bit of transformation, color alteration, a bit of exaggeration and addition of the flood filter, I hope you will enjoy the results…... I believe that color creates mood, for me the soft red is positive energy, blending with purple for a calming effect. Currently had 113 views.
