This was inspired by springtime in the Australian bush. I took the image and abstracted it to it’s simplest color, texture and form. It is a hand painted acrylic work on stretched canvas.

A small 12” x 16” acrylic painting, more a study (experiment) in use of transference colors over different background colors. Now I see it more as symbolic of that theory that even a butterfly’s flutters in China will have an influence on the other side if the globe. / It does vibrate when hung in the light and viewed from different angles, though quietly. So it currently hangs in our kitchen, gently sending out good vibes.
