  • I love to experiment with different things and then it just happens, my art work comes to life. I Hope :-) / This photograph would be good as a Happy Easter Card or even as a Beautiful Mothers Day Card.

  • A portrait of Jesus Christ with bubble-like clouds and bubbly scallops at the end of one of the background graphics. I chose to depict Jesus in this graphic manner without fleshtones in order to overthrow the stereotypical Jesus that is widely familiar to the public therefore taking a step toward making HIS image more inclusive to people of all cultural backgrounds. I do admit that HIS facial structure and wavy hair excludes the characteristics of many cultures.

  • GOOD FRIDAY MAMMATUS / Photo best viewed large. / / / / / / FEATURED WORKS / “GOOD FRIDAY MAMMATUS” was FEATURED in the group #1 ARTISTS OF RED BUBBLE / / / I took this photo of Mammatus on a Good Friday before Easter in Ashland, Kentucky. The clouds first started rolling in and looked like fluffy white marshmallows. Then in front of the setting sun they dramatically began to change colors. They went from snow white to shades of silvers, pinks, grays, blues and even purples! The colors were quite striking and dramatic; these clouds were nothing like anything I had ever seen before! For a few minutes they turned very dark, and it was a sight I will never forget!! These amazing mammatus clouds lasted about 45 minutes before they exited my area. / / / We were under our second tornado watch of the year, and I found out later that I was standing right under the anvil of a severe thunderhead and that a tornado could have formed at any moment! Luckily for me it didn’t, and I was able to capture some phenomenal, amazing clouds. I can’t quite put it into words other than to say, “I closed my eyes for a few seconds and felt like I had been kissed on my cheek by an angel.” This was one time in my life that I will always remember!!! / / / This photograph of “GOOD FRIDAY MAMMATUS” has won National awards, been published in an Anthology, and has been shown on National television. This image is also featured in several websites and blogs throughout the USA and Australia for educational purposes. / / /

  • Great as an Easter card, available in my clothing and cards portfolio . The framed format would look great in a nursery or a child’s room. Even grown-ups could find it inspiring in the right setting. There are a lot of symbols in here aside from the obvious. Eggs represent the Creation, the four elements and life itself. It is a powerful symbol of birth and rebirth. The butterfly is a symbol of transformation, love and joy. In some cultures, it is also associated with feminineness, beauty and fragility. More often, we see it representing freedom. This is a composite made of 2 of my flower photos, one abstract of christmas lights manipulated to change the hues to more pastel tones and to give it a twirl , plus one of a butterfly, altered to look like an illustration and used twice here in two different hues. So there are 4 photos in all in the composite and the egg has been created digitally. Position cursor over thumbnails for more details on how they were used / Featured in the group of The Love of Eerie and Enchanting Artwork on February 22, 2009 1st place winner in the Spring Fresh! challenge of the Lost in Space [75% Negative Space] group on March 10, 2009 Finished in 8th position of Top Ten in the Pretty Pastels challenge of the Bubblers’ Weekly Challenge group on April 13, 2009 Card format here
