This kitty is very like my own cat Sam (Samsara). I love the tawny, tobacco earth tones of tabbies aswell as their stripes and ring-like markings. / I bought a $1 string of pearls from the opportunity store to use as a still life prop for the pearls, to copy from. / This is the last of six small canvases I am sending into a ‘Small Packages’ exhibition. The exhibition is being held by the NZ Art Guild in November at the Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand All canvases are the same size: 10×10 inch. / Acrylic on canvas.
