A surrealistic piece I did ages ago. It’s possibly the illustration I’m most proud of. I had put a lot of time and effort developing this style for myself. It borrows aspects of anime movie style illustration from movies such as – Ghost in the shell and Patlabor, aswell as every Hayao Miyazaki film. It was hand drawn. I started with the Geisha then added the other elements separately similarly to how an animator might build up a scene. Detail:

This is an illustration I did of my favorite musician, Chino Moreno. If you don’t know him. He’s the lead singer of the band Deftones. I didn’t have any reason to do this except as a kind of tribute to a person I admire. I left out some of his tattoos. This was done very quickly so there wasn’t much attention to detail. It’s a fairly simple image. I added the red water as more of an experiment. I wanted another elements in the image, but I never got around to it..

They are just deciding what to eat first, perhaps the cheese…as / there seems no meat available.

It is always the Chase with Spot, the conquest is secondary. But then again they had it coming, first the mouse ventured out for that last forbidden morsel, and of course Tabby just could let the opportunity pass…well then the rest is history as they say.
