:) um well, the story goes that those whom window shop have more fun.. this was a display of the liquor store aboard the cruise ship I took last year. i completely revamped its look as it had so many reflective kooks in the shot originally .. its the first cruise I have ever taken , so / and I took 634 photos.. I just got to share some :)

From drizzle to drowning. From dawn to middle of the night dreams that wake me up with a “pow.” That’s it. The answer. Then in the morning the drift falls from a darkened hollow into swirls of vapor and across a seaweed forest. My pencil scrapes. My brush strokes. Awaken. Awake to dream again. A struggle to find an answer that is forgotten in the effort to do do do what I think I must must must and drive myself crazy trying to escape. To sleep on my feet in a daydream of forest palms towering over and pools of languid, blue, mirrors instead of piles of dirty laundry. Or maybe it is all really the same. / The answer laying in the soft white shift of a sheet from a drier in sunlight and waving at the light’s own laughter at the sun. / acrylic on fabric. about 4 ft x 7 ft not stretched. Third in the series… three drops.. nothing too special. I shall explain the crazy set-up for this one… I had the tiny green spring (which was strung with seed beads) resting on a CD with a shiny gift bow as the background. I used a syringe to place the water drops and used my flash as well. Haha, it makes sense to me! Enjoy!

These amazing little orange mushrooms are a variety of Marasmius…some of the worlds smallest mushrooms belong to this family. / The height on these were almost 2 inches…the cap only about 1cm. / Found on a NE Kansas foray on a property COVERED in woods…A first-time find for me. Most everyone else had stepped past them as they’d seen this species in several other spots. I guess I was slow. We had about 15 people on the hike including my son and another member’s granddaughter. A GREAT hike…starting with an amazing amount growing on HORSE PUCKY! I couldn’t have driven home happy right after seeing that display. I tend to walk slowly so everyone was done except the leader of our group who stayed back with me to hunt (probably because he was afraid I’d get lost).

Photo manipulation creation with a meditative effect. The original shot, another vivid New Mexico sunset seamed to be calling out for a bit of transformation, color alteration, a bit of exaggeration and addition of the flood filter, I hope you will enjoy the results…... I believe that color creates mood, for me the soft red is positive energy, blending with purple for a calming effect. Currently had 113 views.
