Watercolour. 70CM X 100CM. I find zichron Ya’aakov, Israel.. a very inspiring place for me to visit. Every time I visit there, I take photos . In 2001 during a vacation there, I took many photos for my inspiration, as well as sat there , to paint. Since then every now and then, I feel myself inspired to make more artworks inspired by the landscape of Zichron. I made many artworks, in several techniques. This work started in 2001 ( using about 14 photos to build the composition), somehow, I didn’t finished it until the last weekend. Usually I prefer to work and finish a work ( 99% – I finish a work ). I so much enjoyed working on it.. As I almost finished it, I felt strong urge to go take photos of these Canna flowers… YET, I remembered that the last time, I was at Zichron, that particular place… I could not reach those Canna flowers because of rebuilding there. BUT… I SIMPLY HAD TO take photos of Canna yesterday :) and so, I find the way, to find other Cannas… :))... And that’s just a bit about how inspiration is LIVING And recreating itself inside of ME. Digital collarge, inspired by the absolute beauty of nature / Digital Art Work. Working in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS2 . Creating a Collage of sorts – a real assemblage of colour. Finding images and creating more in Illustrator, playing around with some affects like image transparency, layers, warping, filters, cutting and pasting. These gorgeous ladies inspired by my mum and her 2 sisters are dressed beautifully to enjoy the beuatiful day outside

This is another shot I got yesterday morning of the sunrise, and I started playing around with it. When I added the blind effect to it, this song came to mind!( ” Blinded By The Light” ) I loved the song many years ago, so I looked it up on You Tube. I knew Manfred Mann made the song #1 hit in 1976, but what I didn’t know was that Bruce Springsteen wrote it in the early 70’s. The video that I have attached to this picture has that information right in the video plus the words! This beautiful sunrise was taken in Port hardy, BC on the northern tip of Vancouver Island.
