With the stress of everyday life it’s no wonder people reach for anger and even hate for their fellow man. Everyday as a flight attendant I see them all calling out to be heard. In their bags they carry blame and in turn someone tosses accusation to shield their own pride. I have been among them with my own words of fear and frustration. It was hard to separate myself and stand true with what I believe. A few years ago, I started to write a book for children. I would call it “A pocket full of smiles.” I started to picture my self with those smiles on hand to give to anyone in need. If we carry a pocket full of smiles where ever we go, it will be easy to reach for Love when we color our own world.

I keep a photograph of a path in front of me when I work on art to remind me that if I stay on the path, eventually I’ll get somewhere I want to be!
