19 February, 2008 It all started with a TV screen shot. I got then inspired to start a series of compositions called The colours of love. This artwork is the first in this series. So how do you make someone understand something that you understand? You can’t. All you can do is understand it. So your greatest gift to them is just know what you know about death, know that it is nonexistent, know that this man, this being, exists eternally, know that he can come through the cat door either way, know that he is constantly, consistently focused here, know that he has awareness about what all of you are doing, know that his interest in what you are doing has not changed at all. Know that you have the ability to interact with him. Know that he has the ability to interact with you. And make that a real experience for yourself. And then talk about it as if it is a normal experience. Let it be the normal experience that it really is. Chakras and Vibration Everything moves, from atoms to planets millions of light years away. Electrons move around the nucleus of an atom. Planets revolve around their suns. Everything moves and therefore everything vibrates. Where there is vibration, there is sound. Every part of our body vibrates at a specific sound frequency. Each of the seven Chakras has a specific sound associated with it. Colors also vibrate at a specific frequency. And each Chakra has a color associated with it. That is why the use of color and sound can return balance to our Chakras causing restored health. / The Key To Health and Healing. Chakras are associated with our physical, mental and emotional states. When energy does not flow freely from the Chakras, the body does not function properly. We need to reestablish the free flow of energy in order to heal. The key to health is for our 7 Chakras to be in balance. Through stress of any kind, physical, emotional, psychological, our Chakras can become unbalanced or out of tune. Ommmm .. Sound and Vibrations.. Birch fences are part of my youth where I was living,at that time my mother was in chock seeing sheeps or cows in our vegetables garden and we could see hay bundles sleeping on the field.Of course I knew that if I followed the birch fence I would find the first blueberries for the love of my life,my father…a ritual I did for most of my youth.At first I only had a few bleuberries but what a treat I had looking to my father eating the first handful of those tasty wild berries.I was so proud and happy…. :)) / Autumn time in Saint-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada / Taken with a D200 Nikon /

I have a poem I am working on with the feeling of storms involved. I am a sucker for the experience one gets in strong weather and felt this storm the other night deserved to be observed as a vibration unto itself. So there is the Goddess and The Gods written about these amazing events and I felt my way to producing a piece that depicts them and us.

They were out on the same walk She saw buildings / He saw the sky She saw shadows / He saw the shadows of birds that fly She saw a crack / He saw a crevice She saw a hole / He saw a ditch She saw the homeless / He saw the rich She saw a rock / He saw a diamond When they got home they looked into each other’s eyes, / How shall we ever agree on this life at the same time? / They said all at once / Well… / She said / We must learn to revel in our differences / Lets go against society, / Every time I see differently or you do / Lets break out the champagne and the sweet meats / Every time one sees a problem.. Lets celebrate for the other / Every time one sees a solutions lets do it again … / Celebrate / Celebrate each other.. And then we will loose track of / Perfect timing cause every moment will be just perfect!! This is probably as close to a self portrait as I go. My eye, open wide. I’ve always been told I do a good impression of someone scared. Fear of what though? That’s up to your to decide. Fears play such a big part in who we are. Yet we rarely want to acknowledge or face them, for fear of them? Fear of fear, or being afraid and vulnerable. I have no idea what prompted me or inspired me to do this, but it is something that I have thought about before. Humans are funny people, aren’t we? Blanched out the colour, replaced it with cold filters, blue, violet and green and increased the contrast until I felt it was cold, metallic and fearfully helpless. It is said, in the old days Bear Warriors, through a special relationship with bear spirits, literally adopted a bear’s strength in the rage of battle, actually transforming into bears while they fought. / The Sioux had an elite medicine society composed of persons who got their supernatural powers from ‘mato ihan blapi’ meaning “those who dream of bears.” The Bear medicine men teach each other the songs and ceremonies and the medicines they must use and what they are good for. For Native people, the Bear Warrior was the epitome of bravery and courage. The mark of the bear’s claw on the shield or the horse of a warrior was one to be feared, and yet respected. Bear Medicine is also associated with the ability to heal. Bear Medicine is known in virtually all cultures within the bear’s range. The bear is known in many cultures as a great healer, since it seeks out plants for its own healing. North American brown bears and Kodiak bears are known to dig up Ligusticum porteri(also known as “Bear Root”) and chew on it and then rub it on their fur. The plant is known to have antibiotic properties, be good for stomachaches, and repels insects. Alaskan brown bears are known to chew on sedge to rid themselves of tapeworm and parasites before hibernating. The common names of many other plants reflect their usage by bears, such as bearberry, bear’s paw, bear tongue, and bear clover. As an animal that disappears in winter to reappear only in spring, the bear is also the symbol of renewal, rebirth, and the regaining of health. The ancient Greeks associated Artemis, goddess of plants and regeneration, with the bear; indeed, before marriage young Greek girls were secluded and called arktoi, or “she-bears” (interestingly, a menstruating Ojibwa woman was called Mako-wii, “bear woman”). Bear is also a species known for its strong maternal ties. The she-bear was worshipped by the Celts as the bear goddess Artio. And of course, Zeus changed Callisto into Ursa Major, the “Great She-Bear” of the sky. Bear medicine is powerful medicine, bringing healing, renewal, and rebirth. This is the gift that Grandmother Bear brings those who live in bear country. One of the greatest Mysteries of the Bear is the most remarkable fact that all the ancient people of the North Pole refer to the same seven north pole stars as the ‘Stars of the Bear’ which is held to be an impossibility, since the “experts” tell us that these ancient people had no contact with each other.
