TAKEN AT HALE FARM AND VILLAGE IN THE CUYAHOGA VALLEY NATIONAL PARK BETWEEN CLEVELAND AND AKRON. / JONATHON HALE BUILT HIS FARM IN 1810 NEAR THE CUYAHOGA RIVER. TODAY IT IS A “LIVING MUSEUM” WHERE VISITORS CAN LEARN ABOUT FRONTIER LIFE IN OHIO. MANY BUILDINGS HAVE BEEN ADDED TO HALE’S FARMHOUSE AND RESTORED TO FORM THE VILLAGE AND PROVIDE A FASCINATING LOOK AT LIFE IN A RELATIVELY UNSETTLED AREA THAT HAD ONLY RECENTLY ATTAINED STATEHOOD.
