I painted this several years ago for an exhibition run by a local health authority, the theme was Breastfeeding in the Modern Age. / Acrylic on paper
Acrylic and Mixed Media (including metallic and porcelain paint) on Canvas. / One of my inspirations for this piece was a childhood simple pleasure, gazing into the colors of a Kaleidoscope. The lines seam to dance around the canvas and lead you through a journey of color; fiery oranges meet cool greens and blues marry deep purples. I used a variety of surprising mediums that created texture and deepness in color and an alive quality. This piece can’t help but to bring you back to simpler and happier times.
