Once upon a time, a young man visited the tallest tower he’d ever seen and stood and looked upon the world below. It was amazing that the views from the flying machines he’d taken there and the views from this mighty tower were basically one and the same. He didn’t return to that high tower for many years, but when he did, he saw the sunset on those same views. There were many ways this could be read, of endings of old ways, of life’s many phases, but he chose to believe that the tower felt obligated to surpass the younger man’s memories. —-——- / The City lights of Chicago at dusk as viewed from the Sears Tower observation deck..

each year, I give it a go with one autumn picture and have fun with colors using curves. this is a long project … when I’ll have 12 years done, I will make it my exhibition theme and a calendar will be available for this “Automne de rêve” serie :) / This is the 2008 one I just did. (process in Raw program) / hope some will like it ^^ / p.s. / I haven’t been able to decide between 2 versions; the one daker, more colorful, having more character or the one lighter, softer, more romantic. / Asking people around didn’t help either because we ended up with both equally prefered. So I upload both and let people decide which is the one they prefer :) – this is the pale one. / . / the other one /

I went out yesterday..gee it was getting cold and windy…while driving out in the country ,on a road which i have only seen in the summer…looks very different in this season…the scene look good to me….

A peaceful drive on a gorgeous road in Arkansas. This country road is loaded with the beauty of the spring blooming trees, and new leaves budding, and the wild creeping phlox blooming along the ditch line. Kinda makes your mouth water for spring doesn’t it? This is for all of us that are suffering from spring fever. / Since Joe, and Byron have been giving me such a hard time, I dedicate this one to you both in pure D.
