Presentation of my poetry book You may also purchase my second poetry book / (I could send it for you by post) THE LAST WORKS (CLIKC IMAGE FOR VIEW) / . / / . My son`s works (CLICK) FOVORITES of My Category`s (CLICK PHOTOS): Landscapes Portraits Nudes Compositions Flowers Winters Collaborations Fogs . ABOUT MY EXHIBITION The woks exhibited represent the linkup of two artists, a photographer and a sculptor. Such an attempt to blend two spheres of art is really innovative and a bit unexpected. There had been few who were successful in such an attempt. Both authors, blending their art by the means of the photo art, are the winners. Sculpture, as such, is rather a static art, sometimes “performing” in a specific, sometimes artificial, environment. However, the means of the plastic photography, seemingly, make the sculptures movable, dynamic; they make you feel the sculptures are moving. They become alive, start moving and react both to the environment and the views captured by the photographer. I would like the viewers also note the colour solutions of the photos, aimed at the strengthening of the overall impression of the imagery. The original blend and overlapping of two arts let see the impressive plastic metaphors, giving birth to various associations. CLICK PHOTO IF YOU WANT VIEW /

In this painting I have endeavored to reduce the landscape down to its absolute minimum, focusing purely on the line of salt-bush on the horizon, with one solitary bird hovering in the air, to give the impression of the raw empty heat of a mid day summer where nothing stirs until l the cool of the evening. . . Mixed media on canvas This abstract artwork was inspired from one of my photos featuring a beautiful farm tree and a serene countryside. In this work I really wanted to create a peaceful ambiance and something very natural and calming. I saw it first in a vision, I saw a large tree being surround by lightness and flowing soft colors. I call it Daybreak for the light that seams to be on the tree branches and the soft blue hues of color like the morning mist surrounding this earthen beauty, just before daybreak. We also throw buffalo chips, but I won’t get into that… Sep 2008: PLEASE VOTE!!! This is for all the marbles! Emma made it to the finals. The incredible equine farms & stables of upstate New York; some of the finest horses in world come from there. On assignment last winter —while home-stewarding a much smaller family farm of “my own”, Eye saw this scene near the village of Millbrook & was struck by the arrangement of the fencing against the landscape: hence the title … Timeless.

That truck again, this time showing the magnificent color of the curved wheel arches. Typical of trucks of this time most of the body is solid metal, making it solid, heavy and takes a lot of manpower to turn the steering-wheel! , , , , , , , , , , , , , , All artwork is copyright© to Stephen Mitchell, All Rights Reserved. / You may not use, replicate, manipulate, redistribute, or modify this image without my express consent.
