  • I couldn’t wait :)...i really wanted to get a t-shirt for Ireland and oh what the heck..i’ll get one for me..hehe…:) / Another image from my children’s story…last one ….i swear :) :)....seriously :)

  • Model – Meluxine These are some outtake/alternates from the same shoot as Apple Blossom Girl – I actually took LOTS of shots from that set and am having strife picking the final shots to use, and since I treat RB as an alt/outtake spot as well as a preview/never before seen/standard portfolio, I figured what the hell ;) This particular pair were shot on my late Grandfather’s Ensign Selfix 820 on god knows what film, Fuji NPS 160 I thiiiiink… or possibly Portra 400NC. I had no idea what to expect, having never put film through the damn thing before, so the fact they worked and looked delightfully dreamy was very cool. These are scanned from the 120 neg, straight off the camera – no editing aside from putting them next to each other and whacking my watermark on them. Woohoo. You can read about the camera here: http://licm.org.uk/livingImage/Selfix820.html Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas

  • Old Bethpage Village – Oct 2008, handheld, hdr

  • Chuck Tayler shoes are the longest running shoes in history and every generation wears them. They never go out of style!

  • “Listen a hundred times; ponder a thousand times; speak once.” / - TURKISH PROVERB My son Kane had no idea I was photographing him at this time…He was just wondering sweetly along a path in a local parkland area when suddenly he stopped and leaned on the fence. I honestly could not believe what I was seeing through my viewfinder when he did it. Then when I saw the photograph it just blew me away. Kane is 3 years old in this photograph. This is my all time favourite photograph I’ve taken with my DSLR to date. Played with the colour version in photoshop and am very pleased with the outcome. (black and white ) This was taken with my 300mm Canon lense. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WINNER of the LIVE LOVE DREAM Feel the Emotion Challenge WINNER OF WEEKLY CHALLENGE ○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○○ /

The building at dawn not yet a building / Paused the way all buildings do. / What was he saying and to whom? Time doesn’t stop; time doesn’t wait; / Time has never moved. / What was he saying and to whom? If the dog had been sleeping / She would not have awakened, / So small was the moment to lose. / What was he saying and to whom? What was he saying and to whom? / The courtyard at dawn was the same / As the sky, the sky swept clean by the moon. / What was he saying and to whom? Good morning, good-bye, I love you, I’ll try. / What was he saying and to whom? Model my fave! Music-Jim Croce

I will dress for the / occasion, and my hair shall be / whatever color I please. / Everyone will go on celebrating the old / birthday, counting the years as usual, / but I will count myself new from this / inception, this imprint of my own desire. FEATURED IN The Healing Journey ~ it’s an honor to be selected…many thanks to the hosts! Inspired by poetry: And You Thought You Were the Only One / by Mark Bibbins I have forgotten how to lie, despite all my capable teachers. / Lies are, in this way, I think, like music and all is the same without them as with. / The fluid sky retains regret, then bursts. He is still there, standing in the hall, insisting / he is someone I once knew and wanted, come laden with gifts he cannot return. / If I open the door he’ll flash and fade like heat lightning behind a bank of clouds / one summer night at the edge of the world. Thanks to the beautiful model“ Musically inspired – The Sweetest Taboo by Sade There’s a quiet storm / and it never felt like this before. / There’s a quiet storm / that is you. / There’s a quiet storm / and it never felt this hot before. / Giving me something that’s taboo / Sometimes I think you’re just too good for me.

FEATURED in Out of the Past ~ I sincerely appreciate this feature! FEATURED in THE SISTERHOOD ~ many thanks to the hosts and members! FEATURED in Vintage and Gorgeous ~ sincere thanks to the members and hosts. Thank you to the model! Inspired by poetry ~ one of my favorites! Forgetfulness / by Billy Collins / / The name of the author is the first to go / followed obediently by the title, the plot, / the heartbreaking conclusion, the entire novel / which suddenly becomes one you have never read, / never even heard of, as if, one by one, the memories you used to harbor / decided to retire to the southern hemisphere of the brain, / to a little fishing village where there are no phones. Long ago you kissed the names of the nine Muses goodbye / and watched the quadratic equation pack its bag, / and even now as you memorize the order of the planets, something else is slipping away, a state flower perhaps, / the address of an uncle, the capital of Paraguay. Whatever it is you are struggling to remember / it is not poised on the tip of your tongue, / not even lurking in some obscure corner of your spleen. It has floated away down a dark mythological river / whose name begins with an L as far as you can recall, / well on your own way to oblivion where you will join those / who have even forgotten how to swim and how to ride a bicycle. No wonder you rise in the middle of the night / to look up the date of a famous battle in a book on war. / No wonder the moon in the window seems to have drifted / out of a love poem that you used to know by heart. Inspired by Music ~ Alan Jackson – Remember When

  • The Adelaide Eye, as we called it.. a not so giant ferris wheel, located across the road from our apartment in Glenelg, where we stayed over the weekend. I’ve always wanted to capture a ferris wheel, never had the chance to do it until this moment. Desaturated this one and added a texture from www.deviantart.com to achieve a more vintage look.
