  • Cusco, Peru’ ! / While walking in Cusco a few days ago I met this little girl, Flor, and her sister Yolanda ! I had already taken a picture of them last year ” Flor y Yolanda ” and when I showed them a copy of the photo.. they were so impressed that they asked me to take more pictures. This is just one of the many I took ! She is so confident and loves to be photographed !!! I love this picture for the way she poses here, the way she smiles, her spontaneity.. and the beautiful contrast of colors !!!

  • Cusco, Perú !!! / This is one of the first shot I took in Cusco this year !!! / I had just arrived and I was feeling a bit strange and not really in the mood to take pictures of people.. • This is the Chrome grill from the auto in this series called Pinkie from my show called OldBoyToys a look at the autos of a collector. As you can see the grill back in the 1930 to 1970s were a work of art in its self often the reason a person would by a car was to have this grill as a symbol of who they were! It was quite striking to see something as bright and as bold come at you in the night blazing with full headlights reflecting off of its front bumper!

  • “One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. Which road do I take? she asked. Where do you want to go? was his response. I don’t know, Alice answered. Then, said the cat, it doesn’t matter.” / -Lewis Carroll, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” Second artwork in my new series based off of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. This is the my take on the Cheshire Cat, who though a smiling and logical entity, is also a bit unnerving. I chose to portray the cat as something a bit unsettling and ambiguous. “’But I don’t want to go among mad people,’ Alice remarked. / ‘Oh, you can’t help that,’ said the Cat. ‘We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.’ / ‘How do you know I’m mad?’ said Alice. / ‘You must be,” said the Cat. ‘or you wouldn’t have come here.’” The original artwork measures 12.5×19”, and was created with mostly colored pencils and art pens and markers on burgundy Canson paper.
