At Day’s End As the sun goes down over the front range mountains of Denver, Colorado, the Sunflowers turn, in anticipation of the sun coming back up in the morning. Photographed in a field where all you can see for miles and miles is Sunflowers….billions of Sunflowers. An entire sea of yellow and gold….caught in my lens for a fleeting instant, where the whole world was at peace…. Surrealism. In the course of every day life one is always confronted with having to make a choice about something. For every choice one makes, one must be prepared to pay the consequence. Adam and Eve had a choice. You can always think what the consequence may be in the land of Bryce. / © Dave Moilanen 2007

This is a collaboration between my daughter, Brianna (13), and myself. :) She’s a fantastic photographer for her age..she amazes me much of the time. She showed me this photo that she took, and I begged her to let me work on it. :) (yes…I had to beg! Teenagers..ya know?) Anyway, she’s been studying Japanese for a little over 2 years now, so when I asked her what we should call it, she said simply: ki. / Japanese for tree.. / / / >featured< / homepage / / /
