  • I wish I could say that this photo was easy to do..but it wasn’t! / While it appears that I simply smeared my lipstick, it’s a bit more complicated than that. I started out by converting it to a B&W-blue filter-then curving it using the red channel only. I then blew it up to about 300%..and airbrushed the dark red paint on..(no less than 200 agonizing brush strokes!) / It was grueling-but fun. (And thanks to everyone who’s commented, favourited & purchased this! Means a lot to me. :) Stats: / * 263 comments * 141 favoritings * 6202 views / >Triple Feature< / Featured in: Featured Art & Photography / Featured in: The Eyes Have It / Featured in: Sold! / / sold: mounted + laminated prints To be featured in Real Magazine -October of / 2009. / / Framed Print / / / / Card / / / / /

  • The press loved the Mini on it’s launch in 1959, but sales were unimpressive, but when well known celebrities such as Paul McCartney and Twiggy became owners that the sales went through the roof. I’m pretty sure the Italian Job also had plenty to do with sales post 1969. The scene where the robbers’ Minis are chased through a sewer tunnel were filmed in the Sowe Valley Sewer Duplication system in the English city of Coventry.

  • This is not at all what I originally wanted. I was going for a Kiss metal rock kinda look. But the colors and patterns made me think of a Peacock so I added flowers instead and then it started looking like a sad bride, hence the “the” part in the title as in she was something to be desired.

  • Wether Happy or Sad… Sometimes we just get flooded with emotions and they just seem to overflow… Detail Crop #1 / Detail Crop #2 / Understanding (Wash It All Away) By Evanescence “You hold the answers deep within your own mind. / Consciously, you’ve forgotten it. / That’s the way the human mind works. / Whenever something is too unpleasant, to shameful for us / to entertain, we reject it. / We erase it from our memories. / But the imprint is always there.” (Can’t wash it all away) / (Can’t Wish it all away) / (Can’t hope it all away) / (Can’t cry it all away) The pain that grips you / The fear that binds you / Releases life in me / In our mutual / Shame we hide our eyes / To blind them from the truth / That finds a way from who we are / Please don’t be afraid / When the darkness fades away / The dawn will break the silence / Screaming in our hearts / My love for you still grows / This I do for you / Before I try to fight the truth my final time “We’re supposed to try and be real. / And I feel alone, and we’re not together. And that is real.” Can’t wash it all away / Can’t wish it all away / Can’t cry it all away / Can’t scratch it all away Lying beside you / Listening to you breathe / The life that flows inside of you / Burns inside of me / Hold and speak to me / Of love without a sound / Tell me you will live through this / And I will die for you / Cast me not away / Say you’ll be with me / For I know I cannot / Bear it all alone “You’re not alone, honey.” / “Never… Never.” Can’t fight it all away / Can’t hope it all away / Can’t scream it all away / It just won’t fade away, No Can’t wash it all away / Can’t wish it all away / Can’t cry it all away / Can’t scratch it all away (Can’t fight it all away) / (Can’t hope it all away) / Can’t scream it all away / Ooh, it all away / Ooh, it all away “But the imprint is always there. Nothing is ever really forgotten.” / “God, please don’t hate me” / “Because I’ll die if you do.” / “Because I’ll die if you do.” / “Because I’ll die if you do.” / “Because I’ll die if you do.” Music here THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THIS!!! /

  • Seriously, i need a model, a free one, that is cool and likes to do whatever I want to create…. / Also I wish my hair was that long, it was pretty close once upon a time. I was thinking about Dreams today (the life goals kinda dreams), i thought about the way its called a dream and thought about my interpretation of its meaning. / A dream (of the mind as you rest) is this strange crazy event and you are just so lost in the whole thing, everything that happens makes no sense, but you pretend it does so well that your pretending turns to believing quite instantly. It always starts of fairly simple, but then shit happens, more shit happens and more and more shit happens, until you completely forget how you got to where you are and what the purpose of whatever it is you are doing is, then you wake up, and you either forget the whole thing and go back to living life, or you remember it as just some crazy event and you have no idea what was going through your mind at the time and then you go back to living life and all the while nothing really ever happened. / A dream (the goal kinda dream) is the same thing, you think of a dream, then you go through some shit, forget what the hell you are doing and get completely lost and all the other stuff that i said for the sleep dream, then at some stage you have woken up and are just back to living life, its just some event that happened that you are slowly forgetting over time. / I think thats why its called a dream…..... We can still hope it comes true though, especially this one… . Self Nikon D90 18-200mm Featured in / Hairstyles / Young enthusiasts
