I was maybe thinking about life a bit too much ! / But when she passed by I said something funny to her and pressed the bottom !! / I´m glad i did !

Done in pen & pencil. i wanted to add words, but thought it might ruin the picture. i wanted Father Grim Reaper tell his daughter Azmerelda that Rex the Dog’s ear is falling off, & she needs to resew it back on . And Azmerelda says “Yes, Father”. Anyway, the sewing jobs on Rex, the Cat Sparky & Glomp the Rat aren’t very clear, Azmerelda sews ears on them since they are skeletons they would not normally have ears

That day was a special day in Jodhpur, India and many gypsies come over for a party, so i was the lucky one to shoot all these beautifull people. these girls where behind a little foodstall making themselves ready for the next dance..I never really watch the performances , I rather hang around the back and see what happens there..

This was pure fun, there was this whole group of women and one “beautifull’ man, i really wanted to take his shot and they where asking me ‘why you want photo from that man”, well i said because he is ‘beautifull’ they thought that was sooo funny..they wanted on the photo ,forget about him, take us! so i did offcourse and that attracted more people…finally i made a shot of the ‘beautifull’ man too.. but that was at least an hour later!! Quechua and Aymara were the main languages spoken by the native people of the central highland of South America before the arrival of the spanish ! / In the rural areas of Ayacucho, in central Peru, like in the areas around Cusco the majority of native people still speaks Quechua and some of them barely spanish ! / I didn´t meet many tourists during the time spent in this part of Peru and i really felt immerse in a different reality ! / .

I began to climb when we got the region..And then, I climbed around 5000 ft.. Then the mist began.. So I had to stop climbing cause it was getting risky and I dont like making mistakes “in purpose”.. I waited around 10 mins but saw the mist was coming up on me.. So I gave up and decided to go back down.. :)) This time it didnt want me to climb.. So I got back and after 5 mins, storm began with the wind.. :(( (anyways, I did the right ) / In this week we will try again and again… Although we get the forecast from the satellite, it doesnt somehow match (or it changes too fast) :)) I keep posting them in serie :) / This one is one of the first shots when I got to region.. / Well I keep trying :)) TAke Care All :)) / Region Arhavi -TURKEY

For some reason I always find myself drawn to the moon in my greatest times of adversity…. seeking solace in the Mother Goddess maybe….. perhaps some ritual remnant of pagan ancestors….. Either way, it soothes me. The ritual known as Drawing Down the Moon is the Wiccan/pagan ritual of drawing the spirit of the Goddess/moon into the practitioner to enable the Goddess to speak directly through this person. / It is a very sacred ritual amongst followers of this faith. “Show me your garden and I shall tell you what you are.” ~ ALFRED AUSTIN This is my Secret Garden. My work of the last 2 years has culminated at this point. This piece is so very complex, but I will try to explain it to you. This is me. I am from the earth, of the earth, striving to save the earth. She is me, I am her. I live in the country on Kangaroo Island (Australia), surrounded by nature. I have wild kangaroos in my front yard every night, koalas in my trees, and my son Henley and I walk every day, and celebrate the amazing place we live. This nature has engulfed my being. On average, I have been taking about 100 images with my Canon PowerShot camera every single day for the past two years. Macro bugs, macro wildflowers, skies, dead trees, birds, flowers, shells, leaves, images from my orchard, burnt trees from the bushfires, dried up drought-affected dam bases, kangaroos, and of course, my son Henley. So many images have gone into this one piece. There are two worlds here. The abundant and thriving; and the dying, the gone forever. Our house was surrounded by devastating bushfires in Dec 2007 – a time I will never forget. Nothing but smoke could be seen out the windows. This land is vulnerable and changing for the worse every year as a result of Global Warming. It is an issue so very close to my heart because it is on my doorstep. What will this world be like for my child and all the children of now? Famine, drought, heat waves, extreme weather patterns and natural catastrophes, massive bushfires, more war, no jobs, no money, more disease, more animals extinct forever, less trees and rainforests, less farmers, less food. We are seeing it now. Something has to be done. My forehead shows a migraine I recently had during a heatwave. It felt like a penetrating light was entering my eye and illuminating half of my brain before exiting at the base of my skull where the vision centre of the brain is. It was very powerful to me. Vision. Have the vision before the world dies. Mother Earth is dying, as is half of me. What are you doing to help the earth survive? It’s up to our generation, or there will be nothing left. Your thoughts on this topic are most welcome…. Boo Cat was mom’s flat faced persian cat. / When she had to move in with Marie and I / because of alzheimers, Boo came with her. / Maries and my name for him was ‘Mr Horrid’. / Even with his personality disorder, he / eventually found love. Moral of story, there is / hope for us all :-). This is a memory painting. / We laugh now after these many years.
