The piece came out a bit frightening. I think it was because I was sick for the last few days and I somehow managed to visually manifest the illness, but I thought it was too interesting not to include here. Creation Method
I took this back in the late 1980’s of an area of Ventana Wilderness, which is above the coast highway (Highway 1) south of the Monterey Peninsula in California. It was just a gorgeous area. We used to take our old VW bus Willy up there for as many days as we could spare. Probably wouldn’t be a wise thing to do now. The white in the photo is the clouds over the ocean.

Another tulip fields photo taken during the annual tulip festival in April, in the Skagit Valley of Northern Washington. There is such a passion to be able to capture these flowers in their full color in a photo and with only one or two months, based on the weather to do it in. I feel so fortunate to be able to take advantage of the closeness of where I live and yet I do not always get the opportunatey to shoot them. This particular photo was so blinding in color I softened the edges to help tone it down.

Alt Title(s): “Twists Of Beauty” “Head Turner” Northern California; Bay Area. Inside Trader Joes angling for another, commercial shot, Eye Spy upon a real Head Turner; one of the most beautiful women Eye have EVER seen. Anywhere. The whole section of the store Eye was in became still as she walked through it. She was leaving the checkout line rapidly & due to my task at hand, Eye could not follow —otherwise … All a Brotha could do was capture what he could. Here’s the Head Shot Eye Got.
