A photo of Champ when he was about four months old, he is now 5 1/2 months. He is a dog with unlimited expression in his eyes. Champ is American Border Collie Association (ABCA) registered.
Picture I took of my brothers dogs!
My beautiful boy waiting for me
My 11 week old red collie “Ruby” just wants a nap!
Also affectionately known as “Bozo”, our NQR collie. Absolutely adorable, but so stupid!! This portrait actually makes him out to look far more intelligent that he really is! We really do love him, really we do!!
Champ just loves the pumpkin, can’t you tell? He has taken some bites out of the side of my poor pumpkin. Champ is getting big, he will be 9 months old tomorrow 10-23-08. Still as sweet as ever, however he did destroy the girl ragdoll holding the basket of leaves in “Harvest Twins”. He is a border collie with lots of energy, when he gets bored, you’d better watch out, put those treasures up for safe keeping. He is just a pup and doesn’t know any better. He sures hates getting in trouble though. I thought this photo would make a great Thanksgiving card. Oh, and this is a bird’s eye view! Best viewed larger

Always at the ready … a Border Collie sits and waits!
Just had to upload another shot of bow the color of his eyes is fantastic and couldn’t see that in the black and whit shot.
FEATURED IN THE RESCUED PETS GROUP ON MARCH 21, 2009!! My husband, Homer Steedly, took this great shot of our very noble dog, Dottie as she posed for him in front of Sun Wall rock face, a section of Looking Glass Rock in Pisgah National Forest. Dottie and Homer hope to start hiking again this Spring. Dottie was rescued when we found her starving by a river in December 2004. She was only 6 weeks old, terrified and lonely. As you can see from the photo, she’s come a long way. Of course we ADORE her which does make for a noble look!!
Under Doctors orders I am supposed to rest my leg as much as possible. Max loves nothing more than to snuggle in and go to sleep LOL!!!!!
Having uploaded Bailey I could not leave Skye out. This is my Bearded Collie dog called Skye. I waited just the other side of a low wall while my wife threw a ball over my head and I caught him just as he leapt over the wall. Canon 1Ds Mk2 / ISO 200 / F2.8
Two photos blended into one…the one with Champ catching the frisbee was taken on 3/20/09…the head shot was taken 4/10/09…this is my first attempt at doing something like this…created in PS CS2 for the 2 Images in 1 Challenge in Cats and Dogs Champ loves to play frisbee…he sometimes jumps at least 2-3 feet in the air…he’s at least a foot off in this shot!!
Nothing like a Border Collie’s eyes to HOLD you where you are! Imagine if you were a sheep… : ) Taken at a Cappy Pruett Stock Dog Training Clinic in Maryland, May 2009.
Rumor the Border Collie, gettin’ the job done! This little dog is jaw-droppingly fast and agile, and is obviously bred for herding livestock. Truly an impressive little gal! Cappy Pruett looking on during his Stock Dog training clinic in Maryland, May 2009.
