I saw this man standing looking at this yellow pole. These are poles that i stare at most of the time, maybe he was thinking if only…...?? New York, USA October 2007
©Seth F.Weaver,Sr. 02/02/08. A DigiMix™ work.Based on a classic sci-fi story with the same title. A scene in deep space as planets collide and explode. This is a very noisy picture, volcanoes erupting, worlds crumbling, and don’t forget the poor people on one of these worlds. Very scary thought…I’m glad God takes such good care of us on our little speck in the cosmos..
It would be such a pity to leave without a comment. Like it? Say so. Don’t like it? Say so too! With a bang, if that fits your style. I’d rather leave a negative impression (on someone) than nothing at all. DullNBoring is NOT my middle name. Neither my last (I knew you’d probably say that!) As for the first name, it’s on the front page. So, please go ahead, leave a note and make my day! Thank you from the heart my friend. / / . / Please view also my other work.. / / Thank you for visiting.
Now this sculpture is a blending of two worlds, the free world where dolphins can go anywhere in our oceans and the captive world like a zoo where only a small space of freedom is for our dolphins to be viewed, cared for and studied. White + Black Light + Dark Good + Evil Never one without the other… Long Beach, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Canada / March, 2008
Looking down magnet tubing of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. Protons will be fired nearly at the speed of light and collide at detector points such as the 25m high, 7000 tonnes ATLAS (pic below). / / Straddling the Franco-Swiss border, the tunnel housing the LHC is 27 km in circumference, making it the largest particle collider in the world. / Confirmation of the existence, or absence, of the Higgs particle, identification of extra dimensions and investigation of antimatter are among the highly anticipated results of the particle collisions. But no one really knows what’s going to happen. / To keep the magnets functioning, they are cooled to -271.3°C, colder than the temperature of space between galaxies. Final stages of cooling are currently taking place and the LHC is expected to begin firing within a month or two. / Scientists at CERN were the inventors of the internet; www.CERN.ch was the first website to exist on the web. Update: Well, here we are, the world hasn’t ended. Onwards and upwards for the advancement of knowledge – yipppeee!

My Dedication to the Men and Women of CERN and the LHC
This is my artwork showing what could possibly happen about one second after a proton particle collision if something is goes amiss at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in Geneva, Switzerland. Theoretical ‘dark matter’ and ‘strangelets’ are released by the collider into our dimension, which then form a stable black hole right on the surface of the Earth, tearing up the fabric of time and space and sucking the Earth inside-out into oblivion. / / This artwork was made to accompany my article about the dangers of the new particle collider that have been very effectively glossed over by the scientist community directly involved with the project, as well as, others with a financial interest in the 8 billion dollar project. The article details many aspects of what the scientists are not telling you about. / / Please be sure to read my article that accompanies this artwork at the link found below. / / Be Afraid by Art4EartH / http://www.redbubble.com/people/art4earth/writing/1682509-be-afraid / / Oh… the artwork details… The background created from a PD image from NASA. The black hole forming is a fractal i made in Apophysis, and the exact center of the black hole is precisely over the CERN complex just outside of Geneva, Switzerland. Post-processing effects and the composite were done in Photoshop. This is another large artwork that is hard to see the details of over the web, as the original was made at 3600 pixels square at 300 pixels per inch. / / Enjoy each day as if it is your last, as with all the madness in our world these days… it could very well be! / / Peace & Love, / / Art 4 EartH

It snowed today, November 18, here in Valparaiso, IN. The leaves still have not completely fallen off of the trees. I took this picture of a leaf that fell after the snowfall. It was taken with a Canon 20d EOS SLR with an 18-55 IS lens on an automatic setting.

Imaginative work with light and dark. Made entirely with images of light.
Bright, intense Abstract Expressionist painting, 24×36 inches on gallery-wrapped canvas. This painting has an active, layered surface, with lots to look at. The colors were made with only one red, one blue, and one yellow, and I added the violet and the white calligraphy at the end. This piece works from any view, horizontal or vertical. Image c Lynda Lehmann. The original painting is available at www.lyndalehmann.com.

I had to work up the courage to post this. It took me three days to create: 5 fractals, 3 photo images, and 2 digital paintings all layered. If it were made of real paint, I’d be drenched and this room I’m in would look like the color wheel blew up. Last night I loved the piece too much; this morning I changed it and I love it “enough.” / I’m discovering that loving an image too much means that I can’t see it for what it is…..and isn’t. I can’t assess its completeness or its direction or its readiness to face the world. Now it’s done. I love it enough to accept it and stand behind it. It’s part of me today, not more than what I am. Anyway, I love thinking about wormholes and trying to see them in my mind. And sometimes I imagine how things would be if two of them gently collided, trying to occupy the same “place” at one time. I like to think they’d say “Oh, excuse me!” and then become good neighbors. /
This is an homage to Federico Garcia Lorca, a spanish poet and dramatist, inspired by his poem Faithless Wife. The Faithless Wife So I took her to the river / believing she was a maiden, / but she already had a husband. / It was on St. James night / and almost as if I was obliged to. / The lanterns went out / and the crickets lighted up. / In the farthest street corners / I touched her sleeping breasts / and they opened to me suddenly / like spikes of hyacinth. / The starch of her petticoat / sounded in my ears / like a piece of silk / rent by ten knives. / Without silver light on their foliage / the trees had grown larger / and a horizon of dogs / barked very far from the river. Past the blackberries, / the reeds and the hawthorne / underneath her cluster of hair / I made a hollow in the earth / I took off my tie, / she too off her dress. / I, my belt with the revolver, / She, her four bodices. / Nor nard nor mother-o’-pearl / have skin so fine, / nor does glass with silver / shine with such brilliance. / Her thighs slipped away from me / like startled fish, / half full of fire, / half full of cold. / That night I ran / on the best of roads / mounted on a nacre mare / without bridle stirrups. As a man, I won’t repeat / the things she said to me. / The light of understanding / has made me more discreet. / Smeared with sand and kisses / I took her away from the river. / The swords of the lilies / battled with the air. / I behaved like what I am, / like a proper gypsy. / I gave her a large sewing basket, / of straw-colored satin, / but I did not fall in love / for although she had a husband / she told me she was a maiden / when I took her to the river.
