  • This is actually the oldest piece I’ve posted in here. I did this back when I was a freshmen in college nearly ten years ago. Wow, was it really that long ago? Seriously? Holy crap, I’m getting old. Anyway, this thing was absolutely huge and I went though a a WHOLE LOTTA’ pencils while drawing it.

  • Princeton, NJ – May 2008 – Taken as an HDR

  • Just a quick in between thing again. This basically shows what I’m going through right now. Except I’m not a guy. And I actually study on my bed, on the couch, in the living room… =P But yes, this is the student life, at least during exam period. Pencil drawing. Background and textures added in Photoshop, as well as the slight shading. Colours appear a bit different here (less red) than they did in Photoshop, but oh well. =)

  • This one is a wee bit older. In fact, it was made way back when I was in college (which is longer ago than I would like to admit.) I don’t know about you, but it’s sort of making me hungry… Anyone else? No? Guess it’s just me.

  • Gardener’s cottage, in West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, Scotland. Princes Street Gardens were acquired by the city in 1876 and further landscaped by the City Architect Robert Morham (1839 -1912). Morham also built the Gardener’s cottage in 1886. To the right of the cottage is the semicircle of rectangular standing stones depicting the history of the Royal Scots Regiment. The central stone is inscribed with names of the campaigns in which the Regiment took part and a central bronze plaque shows the insignia of George VI. The memorial was unveiled on 5th August 1952 by HRH Princess Mary, the Colonel in Chief. The final stone was unveiled on 9th of May 2007 by HRH Princess Ann to commemorate the end of the Regiment. Behind the Royal Scots memorial you can see the stately towers of New College on The Mound and to the right of this is The Hub, at the top of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. Its gothic spire – the highest point in central Edinburgh – towers over the surrounding buildings, including the adjacent castle. • Rome, Georgia Featured in: Berry School`s Old Mill From the mill`s construction in 1930, students under the supervision of a miller used the Old Mill to produce corn meal and food stuffs for the Berry Schools. The Republic Mining and Manufacturing Company donated the iron hub, while students built the water wheel. At 42 feet in diameter, this is one of the nation`s largest overshot waterwheels. Berry`s reservoir lake supplies water to the wheel. Gravity pushes water up the stone column and over the wheel, turning it. The old Mill has been preserved as a testament to the practical training Martha Berry incorporated into her schools. [2002.6 Erected by The Georgia Historical Society and Berry College 57-3] Constructed in 1930, the Old Mill boasts an iron hub which had originally been of service at Hermitage, an early manufacturing community near the Shannon village between Rome and Calhoun, Georgia, and was a gift to Berry from The Republic Mining (bauxite) and Manufacturing Company. Henry Ford had the hub moved to Berry where the wheel was rebuilt. The wooden overshot waterwheel, considered one of the largest in the world at 42 feet in diameter, was constructed by student workers. For many years, the mill was operated by Mr. Green Berry Goodson, a white-bearded miller who ground Berry-grown corn into meal and grits. Water is piped directly from Berry’s reservoir lake to the wheel. Once primed, the force of gravity is strong enough to push the water up the stone column, and over the wheel, causing it to turn. During 1977 the wheel was completely rebuilt as a cooperative project involving Berry students, staff, alumni, and friends, and was dedicated to the memory of Mr. Gordon Keown on June 3, 1978. Mr. Keown was an alumnus of Berry, a long-time staff member and acting director of the Berry Schools from 1942-1944. During 1985, physical plant staff and student volunteers restored the mechanism and made grinding of corn meal once again possible.

  • My young friend let’s the world know he is ready now for college. These shots were taken at the Art museum in Cleveland, Ohio

  • I was just having some ‘ME’ time again and playing around in Photoshop Elements 7 So, there I was the other day having a walk up at the Forty Hall Estate which is in Enfield, England and I came face to face with a budding squirrel paparazzi photographer. I did laugh because he looked as though he was straight out of the Nikon College for paparazzi beginners. He took a few quick shots of me before realising I was nobody special and of no particular importance before rushing off to shoot a couple who looked a little like Brad Squid and Angelina Pony. Well his loss eh? LOL I hope you like the photo and thank you so much for viewing my work, please call back again soon.
