Structural damage I found while wandering through the north of the city.

You could believe what you want / you can see yourself change through your own eyes / dead life is like a colorless planet / with swirls of black, gray, and white / a place where our world is nolonger called ‘This Pretty Planet’ / our colors of our past / slowly decay with other dead life around you / nolonger can we think / Oh this ‘This Pretty Planet’ / but Oh ‘What a sad bland planet we live in’
Take a sure step on water / And fall right through

Can’t you feel the growing pains ?
The fast disintegrating rail approach to Dead Bod Jetty buckles and writhes under the weight of it’s own ruination. Once freight trains would have steamed out to meet the unloading ships, or to bring cargoes for storage before export, on this wonderful old loop line that has both landward and seaward platforms straddling the warehouses out on the jetty. I would love to have seen it in action.

Old wooden barn in Washington State, apparently collapsing in slow motion.
For this shot I tried to portray the Banqueting Hall in a sinister way by drawing out it’s more industrial qualities rather than focusing on the few remaining scraps of it’s former glory. This building is so far gone that it would be hard to imagine any redevelopment, although it will probably collapse of it’s own free will before someone takes a wrecking ball to it.
Three windows in a dilapidated farm building. Photographed in RAW with a Sony R1, Carl Zeiss optics.
Dilapidation, slightly ironic.. or simply, in character.
The photograph of the painting meets the original in time, space, time and concept.
Monotone study of a barn in the act of collapsing.
Wakefield landscapes.
“You drained my love down the barrel of a gun / And fired.” * * A T-shirt experiment.

The banks all along the Murray River are cracking and falling into the water, taking trees, shacks and even cars with it. Large sections of the riverbanks have been fenced off as it is too dangerous for people to traverse them .. the concrete section that usually crosses here has collapsed and fallen in. Taken at Long Island Reserve, Murray Bridge SA
These signs are appearing all along the Murray River, it is becomming too dangerous for people to walk along the rivers edge as they have been able to do in the past. As a result a lot of watersports are in danger of closing down as the liability insurance risks are too great to sustain them. If you are intending on going to the Murray River please take all precautions to keep you and your families safe. Taken at Long Island Reserve, Murray bridge, SA
