digital mixed media. / combination of drawings and photos taken on my camera phone (mostly from the car while driving – I know this is probably not a good idea but sometimes I just have to get an image). Winter rain makes me want to climb into somewhere small with a book, a cup of hot tea, and sketchpad to spend time with my thoughts and dreams. Looking out from the window, the grey light of the sky dimly illuminates the neighborhood being washed clean at last… I miss… something… and that comforts me.
Model – Halohid Andy and Marilyn – here’s looking at you kids. I’ve decided to make this available as a print mainly because I want to test out this site’s print quality myself. It won’t be available for long so if you want a copy without having to pay my gallery prices better get in now ;) Copyright Harmony Nicholas

A sunrise of this immense beauty is a true rarity and I am thrilled to be able to share this with the redbubble community! The photo shows the beach in downtown Port Orford, Oregon near our home, with the color-bathed waves of the Pacific rolling ashore and the misted coastal mountains silhouetted against the gorgeous morning sky. The photo is unedited and reflects the intense colors and spectacular scenery exactly as it was witnessed! (Nikon D700, Nikkor DX 18-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 ED Lens, Settings f/4.5, 1/80th, ISO 200, 40 mm)

Every time I visit my mother, I come home with lots of beautiful flower photos, too many to choose just one, so I decided to put several together in this collage I’ve named, “Garden of Eden,” because that is exactly what Mama’s yard feels like! It’s a sight for the eyes and a soothing balm for the soul. The image of the cardinal sitting on the statue of Jesus is from my yard; there is a very old cardinal who loves to rest there. I think he’s got just the right idea. No better place to find peace!
...am being really inspired by the river the wildlife & flowers at the moment…. it’s all so beautiful the River Waveney Norfolk Broads’ UK.Smallfaces ..The river flows across my path guiding and enlightening me, and as it goes meandering so it’s story grows’... inspired by the River story above…a first experimental composite of the River superimposing a Swan on /layered photos I took of the river folk/cloned/opacity etc;graphics/text/gradients…..

A Collage of pictures taken at the English Garden in Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg MB, Canada. September 7th,2009 / All photo were shot with a Canon PowerShot A570 IS.
This time I have used: - a picture of the sea / - a picture of the sky, both taken at the Suffolk coast. / - a picture of ivy growing on a wall / - a picture of a tree trunk, both taken at Sawston Hall. I’ve painted the flying ladybird and used the following textures: Big Light Textures by HinataTentenAnkoRul Grunge Nebulae Textures Fudgegraphics Textures 117 Sanami276 Water/Ghostly Textures Lithium0916 The flying ladybird by itself can be see on my blog The title of the image is inspired by the song Other Side of the World by KT Tunstall 716 views to date.
Here is the latest photo collage, or rather a deviation of the original ‘Lost at Sea’. Although I liked the original I felt that there was something missing. The original photos are of the sea and sky at Dunwhich at the Suffolk Coast, UK. When I was hunting around for an ‘insect’ to include in the last collage, I came across the Luna Moth and thought it would be perfect for this collage to give it a focal point. I love the shape of it which reminds me of a manta ray. / I have also added additional textures. This now includes apart from the Abused Floors texture by One Cold Canadian used in the original the following textures: / - Grunge Textures by Buzillo / - Grunge & Dirty Textures by Redheadstock / - Rust Textures by TextureStockByHJS The Luna Moth which has been handpainted by me can be seen on my blog
For our final school exhibit we were given the theme “My Space”. I decided to make it “My Space Inavsion” for my personal theme. I then took portrait shots of all the people who have invaded my space both positively and negatively. They are then displayed in a space along with and empty bird cage with its door open, a body cast with the freed bird on its finger and then the portraits (A4) all displayed around the space individually. Then the idea is that when you enter the space to view the exhibit, you invade my space with your presence. It also goes that my art, is my space, it frees my spirit ( like the bird) and allows me to be me in my space… These aren’t all the portraits as there are over 30 potraits and the collage would be weird with all of them. The extent of your consciousness is limited only by your ability to love and to embrace with your love the space around you, and all it contains. Napoleon Bonaparte Featured In Collective Collage
