A collage of macro digital photos of an unusual succulent plant. The photographs were all brought into Photoshop Elements 7 where they were scaled down and arranged on the digital canvas. I cropped out sections of most of the photo’s, one at a time using the selection tool and deleting the parts I didn’t want. A green base layer with a black border was created to contrast with the images.

This wall-hanging was made using coconut husks, sun-bleached seaweed, Khaya (African mahogany) seed pods, sticks, gum nuts, casuarina (She oak) seed pods, paper bark, shells, eucalyptus bark and shellgrit.

Digital collage inspired by living on the largest lake in Texas for over 15 years. We moved to a nearby town in 2005 due to rising costs of everything including gas and oh how I miss living on the lake! The beauty and inspiration there is awe-inspiring to me as an artist. We can still drive out there for a visit, but it’s not the same. BEST VIEWED LARGE. ;)
